SO EXCITED!!!!!

9/4/2014 - Met online to practice language together.
10/5/2014 - Officially became a couple after tons of time talking and flirting. *laughs*
12/26/2014 - First meeting in Atlanta. Spent close to 2 weeks together.
02/16/2015 - Second meeting. I went to Mexico City for an amazing week and met her mom and sisters. Saw lucha libre CMLL at Arena México with her on my birthday that week! Obvious keeper! *laughs*
03/29/2015 - Third meeting. Proposed at The airport in Atlanta. Spent an amazing two weeks together.
04/16/2015 - Sent I-129F.
04/28/2015 - WE RECIEVED OUR NOA1 DATED 04/21/2015!!!!!

5/21/2015 - NOA 2 (online)
6/12/2015 - Called NVC. Received case number!

7/3/2015 - Recieved interview letter.

7/11/2015 - Fourth meeting (Atlanta). ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND REALLY FUN. Saw Fall Out Boy and did lots of fun stuff juntos!

8/6/2015 - Scheduled interview for 9/11/2015

9/9/2015 - Fifth Meeting. Flew to Mexico City, spent an amazing week in Mexico with her and family.

9/10/2015 - Flew to Juarez together and spent two amazing days there.

9/11/2015 - APPROVED AT INTERVIEW IN JUAREZ!!!!! :dancing:

I also was nervous because my divorce was finalized 2 weeks before I sent in my application. I followed the VJ guidelines but still got an RFE. It was for more proof that the dating site we met on was not an IMB. I told them it was free but that was not good enough. I hope what I sent them is enough. They are so vague on the quantity of proof. There needs to be better instructions that accompany the I-129f.

Yeah they are seriously vague on what they want as proof for the RFE's so I copied info from the site and had them send me a E mail saying it was a free site. So hopefully its enough proof.

And Congrats ElGuapo !!!! :dancing::luv:

RFE went out in todays mail so hopefully will be a quick turn around. Fingers and Eyes crossed :devil::goofy:

I have a feeling the RFE I'm getting is for the same thing, so I already contacted the site. They sent me an email back, I hope it will be enough, not sure what else to send. Hopefully I get it soon so I can get it turned around. Good luck!

Thanks GDubya! Been trying to call the NVC ALL DAY to get some word on the next steps but they've been really busy today

This is the best morning what I had for a long time: WE GOT OUR NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Around 5 A.M. in my time, my fiancé just sent me the email what he got... OMG, this is amazing!! The knowing that we're approved... Can't find the words, I just can smile:.-)))

2015-04-03: I-129F sent

2015-04-06: I-129F received

2015-04-15: NOA1 received

2015-05-21: RFE message received by email and text

2015-05-26: RFE hardcopy received

2015-05-27: RFE sent

2015-05-28: RFE received by CSC, status updated on USCIS website

2015-06-17: NOA2 message received by email

2015-06-22: NOA2 hardcopy received

2015-07-20: Got our case # from NVC on the phone and same day transferred to the Embassy

2015-07-27: According to the CEAC site, our case is ready for the interview

2015-08-12: Medicals

2015-09-02: INTERVIEW:-))))

2015-09-06: ACCEPTED!!! (Checked also on ustraveldocs.com), delivery company called me when can they deliver the docs

2015-09-18: POE: ATLANTA

2015-11-23: Got 3 txt msgs with 3 different receipt numbers (MSC# - AOS, EAD, AP)

2015-11-27: 3 NOA#3 received by mail

2015-12-09: Biometrics appointment letter received by mail - Appointment is on the 21st December

2015-12-21: Biometrics was taken for EAD

2015-12-21: RFE received regarding I-485 (W2 was requested)

2015-12-22: Evidence (W2) sent back to USCIS

2015-12-28: Biometrics appointment letter received by mail - Appointment is on the 4th January

2016-01-04: Biometrics was taken for AOS

2016-02-01: Service request sent regarding EAD

2016-02-02: Service request was sent to an officer for response
2016-02-05: Expedite request sent
2016-02-11: Second service request sent, assigned to an officer same day
2016-02-12: EAD/AP card is being produced!!!
2016-02-17: EAD/AP card is being mailed!!!

Current status:

April 9, 2015 First visit to Medellin.

April 14, 2015 Got engaged the day before David flew back home. Met Nelson's mother and showed her our rings. :wow:

April 17, 2015 Filed I-129F

April 22, 2015 NOA-1 date

May 23, 2015 2nd trip to Medellin - Had lunch with Nelson's family and spent more quality time together.

June 9, 2015 3rd trip to Medellin - Spent more time with Nelson's mother, met Nelson's friends and began making plans for October wedding

June 10, 2015 RFE receipt date

June 15, 2015 Hard copy of RFE received

June 16, 2015 Mailed overnight RFE reply.

June 17, 2015 RFE reply received from USCIS (notified by email).

June 22, 2015 NOA-2 date

June 29, 2015 Received NOA-2 hard copy

July 13, 2015 NVC Case Number Assigned

July 21, 2015 Case "Ready" at Bogota CEAC.

July 31, 2015 Packet 3 Received

Aug 14-21, 2015 4th and final trip to Colombia (at least for a year or so) to be there for interview !!!!

October 23, 2015 Stuck in Admin Processing

November 16, 2015 Status changed to READY

November 19, 2015 Status changed to ISSUED :dancing:

November 26, 2015 Arrival in US ........ Truly a THANKSGIVING !!
