yep mine has that too and i didn't request anything either.

Ok, I figured it was just one of those quirky USCIS things. My case history box next to it also says they received it on 4/2 and the main body says 4/13. I think they just do these things to give us something to talk about to help pass the time

lol! agreed. my dates are different too. case history says 4/28 (which is the date that USCIS received my petition according to the mail tracking i had on it) and the paragraph says 5/5 (which I'm assuming is the date that CSC received it from USCIS because my last update date is 5/6). i could be wrong of course lol but that's my best bet as to why the dates are different.

That happened to me too. Try closing out your browser completely, and retype in the website. If you previous had your password saved, make sure you delete that and re enter your new password.

So I tried that and when I logged in it told me my account was locked again :content: I think I'm going to just enter my receipt number to check my status for the next day or so until the USCIS website figures itself out haha.

Hi Everyone,

Just got the approval from CSC last night,... 56 days! Hopefully the NOA2 is "in the mail"...

A couple thoughts from my experience...

- Don't give up hope! We used an attorney to help prepare the documents (before I found this site.) If I had to do it again, I would have skipped the lawyers and followed the excellent advice here (and saved a pile of money.) That said, ours was supposedly a very clear-cut, perfect case,... and still sat seemingly forever on some government employee's desk.

- The USCIS website is definitely broken,... do not count on the web-tracking... sign-up for an account too... Despite asking for both text and e-mail updates,... I only received an e-mail. And yes,... it is after 10pm EDT when these e-mails are sent! There were no updates on the website between the time our case was taken on 4-22 and yesterday when it was approved. There was never any additional information, or changes, and in fact it caused me more concern, because I thought maybe I needed to call because it was lost, or there was some kind of problem.

Good Luck everyone!

James

that's awesome! so happy to hear that! very reassuring to hear that some of the "older" NOA1 dates are being approved now (considering the fact that "newer" ones were being approved before them...it's understandable for someone to get worried and think application was lost or something).

good luck on the rest of your journey! :)

Well I almost got a heart attack this morning when I checked my phone and saw the uscis app notifier pop up, saying my case was changed. I was like wooowowow..and then I checked only to see that it now shows an actual status. "received" lol. I was like holy cow! But anyways, I'm glad this app works now .
