We received our rfe today...my fiancee forgot to cross NO in section 5 were it asked for criminal convictions (3Qs) ... do we need to answer it on the sheet they gave us or fill out the form again and send them the entie form i129f back?!

NOA2 Hard copy received today in the mail. I received my NOA2 email on Tuesday no text. The next stage is frustrating as well since there is no way that I know of to check the status until the new case number is assigned by the NVC .. I will be so glad when this over ...

We got our approval June 1st. Took less than a week till we had the hard copy in the mail!

Are you gonna call NVC in about two weeks?

05/11/2015: "document returned to USCIS" (NOA1 hardcopy)

Going to call NVC tonight. We called last week, still nothing. been a month since NOA2. yet no case number. So we are heading into as long a wait at NVC as we waited for NOA2. that's frustrating. :ranting:

applied for N400 whilst I751 was pending, however I751 was approved without an interview on Jan 10th /11th

N-400 applied Online: 11/7/18

BIO for N400 : 11/30/18

EST. Case Completion: October 2019) of 7/15/19 

INTERVIEW: 10/7/2019- APPROVED

OATH DATE: 10/24/2019-  received oath letter in the mail on 10/11

My NOA2 date is the same as yours, NewKid. I just called the NVC and after 45mins of waiting, I received my case number and found out that my petition was sent to the US Consulate in Johannesburg on June 2nd. Give the NVC a call, I'm sure our processing times are very similar.

My NOA2 date is the same as yours, NewKid. I just called the NVC and after 45mins of waiting, I received my case number and found out that my petition was sent to the US Consulate in Johannesburg on June 2nd. Give the NVC a call, I'm sure our processing times are very similar.

I have been following the DHL tracking and if that was yours, it arrived at Johannesburg on Friday. So you should be getting your packet 3 today or tomorrow.

Hey NewKid,

It took exactly 35 days for the NVC to receive my case and assign a case number. I too, was getting very anxious - along with a few others (some it took over 40 days to receive). CSC can be slow in sending out certain petitions to the NVC, beats me as to why. It may be there by now, with a case number assigned, even if it hasn't left for your embassy yet!

Feb. 13th 2015: I-129F sent

Feb. 18th 2015: NOA1

Mar. 12th 2015: NOA2

Apr. 17th 2015: NVC received

Apr. 20th 2015: Case number assigned

Apr. 29th 2015: Consulate received

May 4th 2015: Packet 3 received

May 11th 2015: Medical - Passed!

May 29th 2015: Packet 4 received

June 18th 2015: Interview!! APPROVED!!

July 2nd 2015: Visa in hand

July 21st 2015: POE

???: Real wedding

Oct. 22nd 2015: Wedding ceremony with family/friends!
