Im 50+ days as well, my NOA was the begining of April. WhenI log in, last updated was 4-14-15. Stay positive, and patient. All we can really do!

I think you're right - we can only continue to wait. Good luck to you and your fiance!

I'm at 50+ days out from my NOA1 date. I was wondering if anyone here has called about a status on their petition? It could be a waste of time, but I guess maybe I was thinking it could be a way to help my sanity! However, I thought I would ask all of you first to get your thoughts. Thanks!

I think tomorrow is day 55 for us, but who's counting ?. I did call a couple weeks ago, figured the validation error would be a good excuse. I got through right away but they said what I expected, it was a technical glitch and the expected time is 5 months for processing. But who knows, maybe you will get someone different who might shed some light on the process.

They do it by approximating how long on average it takes the CSC to process the visa, and then calculates the estimated dates of the petitions being processed.. so for example, right now the average is 31 days, and 31 days ago would mean April 25th.

I too got confused as when I first saw it, I thought it meant "today we got petitions processed with these dates", but it's really just an estimate.

Thanks for the clarification!

We only submitted two letters of intent to marry (one signed by each of us) and that's all! But we have no solid wedding plans yet, waiting until I get into the country lol. If you have any "proof" or a date set, etc, I would include it. Otherwise, I think all you need are the intent to marry letters :)

Yes, exactly! How can we even set a date if we don't know when I can get into the country?? I haven't even started to search my wedding dress

Yeah I do not get what the USCIS is doing either. i am following a few I-29F petitions on the USCIS website before and after my receipt number and they have already been approved ...... My receipt number ends in 2XX and the approved ones are 0xx, 3xx and 4xx .. The 3 and 4 were approved on may 22nd ... This is so frustrating hopefully this week i guess who knows....

I guess the silver lining is we're stuck waiting together. I'd feel a lot worse if I was the only one in the USCIS black hole...

Good luck - hope you get some good news soon!

I figured as much - I expect the "5 month" speech if I call. I'll try to [impatiently] wait it out a little longer. Good luck!

Waiting is no fun especially as we haven't been able to check USCIS website with any luck, getting the same error since 4/16. We are hopeful with the holiday weekend over we will hear shortly.

I think what makes this wait so stressful for me is that I'm basically waiting so that I can wait for the NVC and that so I can wait for the consulate, etc.

It seems only 3 people were approved yesterday, judging by Igor's list :( -- maybe this means a batch of more approvals today?

Like someone else pointed out before, not all the K-1 applicants are on VJ and who knows how many members keep track of their timeline and stuff. So I'm sure that more than just three petitions got approved in total :)

Besides, I think that checking Igor's list over and over brings more harm and annoyance than anything else lol.
