Sounds promising, means they touched it today. Good luck and happy birthday!

Welcome!! This has not happened to me, though I suspect that the reason you are getting that error and the blank message is because someone is working on your case and you will response sometime soon. I hope that is the case for you anyways! Happy Birthday!!

Thank you for your responses!

You were correct and WE GOT OUR NOA2 LATER DURING THE NIGHT. I woke up during the night at about 5AM (11pm East Coast time) and the app was notifying me of the approval. I checked about 10 times the website and the reference number and called my fiance! No need to say I was not able to sleep afterwards! ;-)

We are so happy and I could not have had a better birthday gift :)

Now I probably am going to read anything post-NOA2 related all afternoon. Does anyone know how many months it'll from now on? 3 or 4 months?

I hope NOA2's keep on coming next week so April filers can start their happily ever after asap !!

I have a question about the the Sponsoring of a fiance. Does the sponsor haveto be my fiancé? Because of GI-Bill and summer jobs it is hard to really proof the income hence my sister in law will sponsor me. Do I still the I-134 from my fiancé or can I just use one from my sister in law?

Hi enibas,

Your sister in law will act as a co-sponsor alongside your fiancé, therefore you still need I-134s filled out by both your fiancé and your sister in law.

Ok guys, something odd I just realized about this site...

When looking at the Immigration Timelines, I saw that this site predicts that at CSC, they're handling applications with NOA1 date April 25th...

How on earth do they predict (or know?!) this. The 25th was a Saturday. I'm pretty sure the government doesn't work during the weekend.

I'm sorry if this post annoys you guys, but I have too much time on my hands :dancing:

10-05-2012: Met at a bar in NYC, the beginning of our story!

They do it by approximating how long on average it takes the CSC to process the visa, and then calculates the estimated dates of the petitions being processed.. so for example, right now the average is 31 days, and 31 days ago would mean April 25th.

I too got confused as when I first saw it, I thought it meant "today we got petitions processed with these dates", but it's really just an estimate.
