my number ends with 72, I've seen #73 approved, #78 approved, #59, they're all k-1 as well... hold on, just got an email! could it be...?

aaaand it's groupon. i'd love to know when anyone gets updates, RFE or NOA2

LOL, that is pretty funny. I need to unsubscribe to so much junk mail. Now that I get my notifications on my phone (did this for the USCIS notices), I realize just how much junk mail I actually receive. Best of luck.

January 3, 2015 Met on internet chat/dating site and soon after became a couple.

April 9, 2015 First visit to Medellin.

April 14, 2015 Got engaged the day before David flew back home. Met Nelson's mother and showed her our rings. :wow:

April 17, 2015 Filed I-129F

April 22, 2015 NOA-1 date

May 23, 2015 2nd trip to Medellin - Had lunch with Nelson's family and spent more quality time together.

June 9, 2015 3rd trip to Medellin - Spent more time with Nelson's mother, met Nelson's friends and began making plans for October wedding

June 10, 2015 RFE receipt date

June 15, 2015 Hard copy of RFE received

June 16, 2015 Mailed overnight RFE reply.

June 17, 2015 RFE reply received from USCIS (notified by email).

June 22, 2015 NOA-2 date

June 29, 2015 Received NOA-2 hard copy

July 13, 2015 NVC Case Number Assigned

July 21, 2015 Case "Ready" at Bogota CEAC.

July 31, 2015 Packet 3 Received

Aug 14-21, 2015 4th and final trip to Colombia (at least for a year or so) to be there for interview !!!!

October 23, 2015 Stuck in Admin Processing

November 16, 2015 Status changed to READY

I agree...but just try to compare it to your job or my job etc. there's a lot of things i do at work because those are the policies i have to follow, not because i made them up, not because i agree with them...but because if i don't then i'll be fired. i'm sure all the processors are just doing things the way they've been trained to do them. it's definitely unfortunate for US!!! but i'm sure some of the the rules they follow are out of their hands ya know? like...i know when i make a suggestion to change a process or guideline at work that might make things more efficient...i get the infamous "oh yea, thats a great idea................." and then it's 6 months later and no one has even touched it lol.

does anyone on here use instagram?? i'd love to keep in touch with you guys even after this whole process is over!

04/17/2015: NOA 1 (CSC)

05/11/2015: "document returned to USCIS" (NOA1 hardcopy)

05/13/2015: called USCIS

05/28/2015: e-mail: they will mail the NOA1 hardcopy again

06/01/2015: NOA 2 !!

06/06/2015: NOA 2 hard copy

06/08/2015: NOA 1 hard copy (finally...)

06/25/2015: embassy received electronical file

07/16/2015: embassy received physical file

07/17/2015: embassy sent pack 3

It is indeed bittersweet! but perhaps they need that extra day off and when they come back on Tuesday they will have more energy and love for what they do to process more applications lol.

monday being a holiday is bittersweet................no work for me! but..........no work and/or processing for CSC either haha...I'd rather have work if it meant more applications being processed! eeeeeeeeeek

So from what I've seen today, nobody's gotten any updates, NOA2 or RFE. Maybe there'll be a huge batch of updates late tonight?

For the sake of being optimistic I do have to say I feel good knowing that everybody's lacking updates, instead of feeling like I'm the only one.

Hello all,

I'm posting for the first time but as many, I've been addicted to VJ and this Thread for a while! It has helped me be more hopeful about the whole K1 process.

I have a question: my NOA1 date is April 21st, I have been checking my case status since we received the hard copy in the mail. Unfortunately we've only been getting the Validation Error message. Hence, I created an account as some of you suggested and added my case. No message (it's just blank) would show up when clicking on my case number but at least I can see the "last updated" date which was 4/27.

I just check 20 minutes ago and that date changed to TODAY but the message is still blank. When I log out and try to check, I'm still getting the error message. Same thing with the app I downloaded yesterday.

What do you think is happening? Did this happen to anyone (sudden change of date but still no details)? It's driving me INSANE!

Today is my birthday and all of you can guess what my wish was when I blew my candles during diner!!!

Welcome!! This has not happened to me, though I suspect that the reason you are getting that error and the blank message is because someone is working on your case and you will response sometime soon. I hope that is the case for you anyways! Happy Birthday!!

Is so awesome to see everyone here getting close .. I've been reading your guys post and I see a few have been getting RFE's due to how you guys met.. I'm kinda getting scared cuz I answered we met on a social media website for lbgt.. Do you think I'll get an RFE ? I didn't state what specific site .. But it's not through a marriage broker .. *feeling scared* :(
