Last Monday was a holiday here. I liked that better than the U.S having a holiday, at least CSC was still doing things! My fiance has the day off Monday since he works for the city. And it definitely is bittersweet. I want action and movement not to sit impatiently another day

Yeah ...like why do they even have holidays at all? I mean c'mon. Smh. :protest:

Haha :P like I said before, they're humans too and probably pretty glad that there is a holiday. Well, I will be for sure. Sleep! yay.

haha! I'm totally not trying to come off as a hater. regardless of how long it takes, the processors are all part of making this dream come true for all of us. I'm sure we'd understand better if we were in their shoes, just like they'd understand better if they were in ours. i know it's all about patience. i just miss my love so much (as we all do) and just want this whole thing to be over. but in the long run, this will all be worth it!

I don't really hate them either. It's the whole having no control over when I get to be there or when it will get approved that is tough to deal with. Being away from my love is hard but definitely will be worth it in the end.

guys, you know what's the worst about the number game? i put in other random last digits for the numbers, like #59, and they got approved. yay, good for them, so happy, etc. BUT when I log in and click on my case number, it shows approved - which would be great, if it wasn't taking me back showing me #59's approval instead of my case. something's up with the website and it's playing with my emotions! lol

I agree...but just try to compare it to your job or my job etc. there's a lot of things i do at work because those are the policies i have to follow, not because i made them up, not because i agree with them...but because if i don't then i'll be fired. i'm sure all the processors are just doing things the way they've been trained to do them. it's definitely unfortunate for US!!! but i'm sure some of the the rules they follow are out of their hands ya know? like...i know when i make a suggestion to change a process or guideline at work that might make things more efficient...i get the infamous "oh yea, thats a great idea................." and then it's 6 months later and no one has even touched it lol.

does anyone on here use instagram?? i'd love to keep in touch with you guys even after this whole process is over!

my IG name is @a_sky_full_of_stars___ if anyone wants to follow! (there's 3 ___ at the end of my username)

I totally get that they are just doing their jobs. We have a lot more emotion invested in it which is why it makes it so hard to me. At least it's summer weather now so I don't have to go through the i hate winter and just want to be done with it stage. It makes the waiting a bit more bearable

I guess it might be a bit different for those who filed a bit earlier. I'm on the later half.

I don't know how the numbering goes, except I'm very sure the numbers are assigned as they come in (so just subtracting 100 from your receipt would give you someone who submitted something 100 submissions before you). Now, they aren't all I129F (most of them are not, actually), but I ignore those results. Just realized that some numbers after me don't display error, but the ones before me (until 60 or so) all show the NOA1 date, it's about 100 before that you start seeing actual approvals.

Yeah, monday being memorial day is a mixed blessing. It certainly doesn't help that I'll be leaving town on my "projected date" (about a week from now) either :(

Makes me feel better other people are as anxious as I am (and I'm probably not even as anxious.. just wait until next week!)
