We got a notification via the app. I wait on these to see everyone's progress.

Our case was approved same day. IDK if that is uncommon or not but we're happy definitely!

I live on the east coast, so if I'm correct, the absolute EARLIEST I could receive any update from CSC would be 11 a.m, right? I really shouldn't be asking these questions, it's feeding into my visa obsession ;)I check Igor's list pretty frequently and it seems like the notifications get sent out in batches. Doesn't look like there's any NOA2 notifications sent out so far, so there's still hope for today!

Yeah that's my understanding too. Looks like notifications seem to be sent out in the early afternoon eastern time (12-2), and at night (10:30 - midnight). Or at least that when I seem to see the most activity!

A while back I was trying to play the numbers game (some other folks here did this as well: inputting petition numbers prior to mine, to get a hit on which petition would have the status show up the soonest). I believe the last time I checked was about a week ago, and the backlog seemed to be about 1k. I just tried it now and I seem to only have 60 numbers behind me (until I get the error), and #100 behind me are approved.

I do believe there's some truth to this number counting business

there's definitely some truth and it's a great way to get a general idea. i hate that it's out of order, not because everything needs to be orderly, but because there are several numbers ahead of me that have been approved so it's basically ANY. DAY. NOW.

Do you know how to decode the receipt number as apparently USCIS recently changed the formatting ? Which numbers are you changing to keep it in order ?

I tried changing the last two or three digits and the dates seem to jump all over the place and I am yet to find an I-29F'S most are petitions for relatives or employment.

Hey! I do this too lol!! just wondering if you are taking into consideration that not all the receipt numbers are for K1's? like...when you say "60 numbers behind you" are you only counting the ones that are 129F's or ANY type of application that comes up with a status?

Yeah. It's really starting to annoy me. Even if it sounds weird, but I'm honestly glad that there is someone else who has the same problem lol. And I'm sure, whatever we get, we will get it around the same time too. Either we got the same guy (dunno how many officers work there lol) or our petitions landed in the same box or something, since we both have the same LUD date, same errors, etc.

But yeah. Getting a RFE after waiting over a month really stinks. I really hope that it won't happen to us. Like seriously.

Congrats to the latest Noa2s though! :)

I'm getting used to seeing the same date and validation errors now, I will be shocked when it changes. Yes, we are almost exactly the same, it is good to know someone else has the issue :) I hope we both get some kind of answer soon, I'm starting to think our officer went on maternity leave

I can't think of a good reason I would get a RFE, I followed all the guides, but I think they could find a reason for a RFE for any petition if they really wanted to. I'm actually almost expecting one at this point.

Congrats to everyone getting approvals, hope to join your ranks soon! Day 50 and counting......
