Is it possible to get a RFE or get denied on your interview if you Only flew once but stayed for three weeks to be with your Fiancé? I'm getting worried

As long you've met in person within the last 2 years, you should be fine.

Okay, I may have spoken too soon yesterday. Haha. I called NVC again tonight, and after being on hold for an hour (again), I was told that my case was already sent to the embassy last week! It was sent 1 day after our case number was assigned. That's crazy!

Edit: Also NVC confirmed the CEAC checker is not working, so if you want an update on your case, your best bet is to call.

Just got the hard copy of our NOA2 today 5/19, had it approved at USCIS at 5/13 and received an alert mail at 5/15 from USCIS website. Preparing for the next step. Good luck everyone.

It seems like there have been almost NO work done on the I-129F in CSC this week. Very disappointing :-(

Also, my fiance says that there is a federal holiday coming up and since he's military, he will have a 4 day weekend, so I'm guessing it applies to USCIS too, since it's practically the government.

And that means they won't be processing stuff on Friday either. -_-

Friday is not a Federal holiday, so hopefully they will still process  I saw a petition NOA1 from 5/5/2015 get approved already as well, in only 9 days, I need to stop looking at Igor's list.

Yeah but I think Monday, so I'm not sure if they get the Friday off too, hence 4-day. Or maybe the Tuesday too? Dunno how this works, I'll ask again. I still have hope of course lol!

Anyway, I keep looking at the list too and it is starting to frustrate me. I just think, how are they processing petitions from April 17 already...when there are so many still waiting from earlier dates =.=

Btw, has anything changed when you try to check your case? Validation Error is still there and the "last updated date" is still April 14. How about you?

Yes, Monday is Memorial Day, definitely a holiday, but should be the only day off for USCIS. Never lose your hope!

It's definitely frustrating, but they have to get to ours sooner or later! I tried calling last week just to see if they would say anything, of course it was just the standard response that they are within 5 months yet and my validation error is just a technical glitch... pretty much what I expected to hear.

Same answer as always of course. :sleepy:

Oh well, I'm trying to see the positive things. Yeah the waiting sucks but it gives me more time to spend with friends and family since I won't be able to for a while after entering the US with the K1 and going for AOS afterwards. (Because I will

probably be too tired to throw myself into another stressful procedure that requires paperwork done, just so I can leave the States within two years after arrival Lol.)

I will probably be busy settling down in that time anyway. :)

Yes, same answer. Mine still does say April 14th as well and the message board is blank if I sign in to USCIS.

Once NOA2 (hopefully no RFE for either of us!) comes it will probably go fast at that point, so enjoy your time there now. There will be lots of excitement and new experiences coming. You can't avoid future paperwork and filings, but you will be together at that point so the waiting will be easier :)

As everyone waits for their NOA-2 or their Package from the Embassy, I have a question.

My fiance is concerned about the scheduling of the lab blood test and the doctor's appointment. The Embassy in Bogota, Colombia is a flight away from where he lives (13 hour drive), and he was hoping that he could schedule the lab work in the morning and then the doctor's appointment the same day in the afternoon, so he can do everything in one day.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I know it depends, to a big part, on the Country.

Thanks if anyone has any information about this.
