Thank you for the update. We are coming up to the 2 weeks wait( VJ recommended) after NOA2 in regards to calling the NVC.

What I have read is that NVC being the "halfway point" for applications for K1, is that with the case number they will then prepare the document in the way that your specific consulate prefers it. this usually happens in 3 to 4 days, they then send it off. So I would think that your case should be on its way to the consulate already if not very soon. But again, without the CEAC website working, there is no way to be sure.

We are doing the same in regards to just preparing Packet 3 in the mean time.

Tried to call NVC yesterday but just got a "we are very busy please call back later" message. I'll try again later in the week!

Yes I'd assume they send a "batch" out together so yours may be there too :)

Now got to figure timescales for medicals, etc - we're pretty much set on an April wedding so I feel it's going to be a case of delaying the medical/interview a short time so everything fits into place!

Getting to the latter stages of this part of the journey now, then it's AOS time!!

To be totally honest VisaJourney has made this whole process so much less difficult from what I imagined….. :)

Hey Everyone!

For those of us (who are trying to get a head start on the NOA2 paperwork) that were questioning #11 on the I-134...I have personally decided to check "do not intend" and then put the same comments from the example form here on VJ "N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)"

I found this (older) forum (above), and I also read somewhere else that in previous years the I-134 form used to say something like "this question does not apply to K1 visas" (I personally can't confirm that 100% but that was just someone's comment in a different forum).

Hi guys. My receipt date is April 21 so I am waiting as well. I still have nervousness about the RFE issue but I hope all goes well (included 11 photos, copies of all receipts and boarding passes and certified letter from grandma. Hope that is enough proof).

9/4/2014 - Met online to practice language together.
10/5/2014 - Officially became a couple after tons of time talking and flirting. *laughs*
12/26/2014 - First meeting in Atlanta. Spent close to 2 weeks together.
02/16/2015 - Second meeting. I went to Mexico City for an amazing week and met her mom and sisters. Saw lucha libre CMLL at Arena México with her on my birthday that week! Obvious keeper! *laughs*
03/29/2015 - Third meeting. Proposed at The airport in Atlanta. Spent an amazing two weeks together.
