well i guess everyones say upgrade...and I think we should stop worrying so much about it...there is nothing we can do but wait for the notification from the USCIS. I know how you feel, we sent our petition on april 2nd and still waiting while others who sent it after us have been already approved. I just decided to stop looking at the phone app and the website cause it was driving me crazy lol.

Definitely trying to stop looking at it! It's so hard though. Regardless, things to do! Maybe stay going through everything I own and trying to downsize my life. Which is also hard to go.

Congrats and thank you for keeping us updated......

I wish I knew how these were being processed because there are quite a few petitions already after mine that got their NOA2 ... The USCIS is sort of like a black hole :) .... I am sure we will all have them by the end of the month it is good to see they are at least working on them ....

Yes, I gave up trying to make sense of USCIS, because there is no pattern to the madness! I am coming up on the 45 day mark thinking I must be next for the last couple of weeks, now just hoping by the end of May. There isn't anything really complicated on mine either, pretty straight forward. Maybe the person assigned to mine went on a long vacation

Good Morning All!

For those of you beginning to gather your things in preparation for after the NOA2, have any of you filled out the I134 yet? If so, Can you help me with question 11? "Intend or do not intend to to make specific contributions..." The example form here on VJ says to put "N/A (K1 VISA PROCESS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE)" Does that seem correct? I'm always a little iffy with not checking something off when they give you 2 options. Thanks!

I'm always a little iffy with not checking something off when they give you 2 options. Thanks!

Good Morning,

I had to really think about this question as well. To be on the safe side, I checked "Intend" box, and then just typed in "Fiance will be living with me in my (our) house for the rest of our lives". I don't know 100% that this is correct, but it seems to cover all bases, since they refer to "furnishing room and board" as an example of a specific contribution. The comment should explain it all.

If somebody thinks otherwise, please let me know. Maybe the "N/A (K1 Visa Process for Permanent Residence)" makes more sense.

I've become rather pessimistic myself, thinking the day when mine should have been approved has come and gone. I'm going back to Ukraine for a visit in late June, and if it isn't approved by then we're considering withdrawing the K-1, getting married, and filing CR-1 instead.

I wouldn't give up JamesT. If you look at Igor's List, there are still a TON of NOA-1 dates from the first half of April that are still not processed. And even quite a few from March.

I think they California is just starting to get backlogged. Hang in there! :)

I agree David ... I also went through the March filers and a bunch of them have not updated their timelines and the same with a few April filers.

So hopefully more have "actually" been processed then we know about. .....

I'm not quite sure, but I think the CR-1 process is longer than the K-1.

I was thinking about that... I wonder what percentage of VJ users stick with it through the whole process, and remember to fill in their timelines with NOA2 and other dates? There could potentially be a lot of approved petitions for users who didn't update their timelines.

And yep, I'm one of them. NOA1 date was 04/03/15.

My fiance and I thought we would get it approved way sooner anyway.

It's my birthday this week, maybe USCIS will show some empathy. well...hope is the last thing to die I guess lol.

I am trying to determine when I am going back to Ukraine this summer as well. I was hoping it would have been NOA2 by now and then I would know in maybe a month the interview schedule. I would have liked to be there for the medical and interview, not that it is necessary, but it would be good support. I may just need to pick a time and schedule a trip if I don't know soon. I would encourage you to stick with the K-1, the CR-1 will probably take a year from what I've read and you will have more time apart in the long run. I'm sure we will hear something soon! Still thankful to not be in TSC.
