I'd redo your G325A & get your fiancé to redo theirs & mail it with the "wet" signature. If you do it now & have it ready then you can just send it straight back if you do get a RFE. You've a bit of time to get it mailed while you're in process at CSC. Fingers crossed you won't need it ?

I was going to suggest the same thing. Also get a "wet" signature of the intent to marry letter. Hopefully you don't need them, but you will definitely save some time if you do.

I agree! I already messaged my fiance today and told him to send me originals asap just in case! Do you think it's ok for him to send me the originals of the ones we already submitted? Or should he completely redo (resign/redate) them?

I suspect they'd tell you on the RFE, that you hopefully won't get!

Maybe do one of each then it covers both eventualities, & the intent letter too.

Thank you so much! I have talked to people in that forum and they showed me their packet 3 so we can start preparing for the interview now. One more question though. I guess I'm just confused about why we even need our NVC case number. Is it just so we can see if it's arrived at/left NVC?

Hi kikibozu.

Your case number is used to track each case through its duration at the nvc, the digits of that number tells you exactly when NVC created your case and it is necessary for the next steps in your embassy to get the visa.

Here is a explanation about how to interpret it:

Is it harder to get approved if it's the same sex marriage? And are they more likely to get a RFE? Thanks!

Hi Pamara!

No harder at all! As long as you followed all the steps and sent enough evidence of your relationship you won't get a RFE.

Department of State will consider your application in the same manner that it considers the application of opposite sex spouses.

The very best of luck on your continuing journey together. It was such a good day when section 3 of DOMA was demolished! :)

Now it has already been 10 days since my fiancé filled the 129F and we still got nothing by now. Other people in the timelines filled it in May and already got an answer. I really don't know what to do now. Check is not being cashed, so we don't know if it even arrived at the lockbox. And there is nobody to call and ask
