Hi Everyone! I'm a newbie...I just signed up for VJ this morning!

4/24/15 I submitted my I129-F to the Texas lockbox.

4/28/15 Received by USCIS.

5/1/15 Received an email stating that my case has been sent to the California processing center!

Waiting for my NOA1 now!

Best of luck to everyone! Hoping for a smooth journey for all of us from here on out!

Can anyone help me with this?

I was setting up my timeline, and it asks "US Embassy" (assuming I'm understanding correctly) I selected Sao Paulo, Brazil (because that's the US embassy my fiance will be going through)...then I hit save...and it keeps changing it to "Armenia"??? :oops: Am I doing something wrong, or has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!!

Can anyone help me with this?

Hi! I remember when I first joined VJ the same thing happened to me! Maybe there is some other info you are supposed to submit on the timeline before you hit save? I'm sorry i can't be more useful :(

Good luck, Billy! I'm kind of obsessed with the progress of my case, so I check the status every day (even though I know it's not likely to change so quickly lol!) And after I got my NOA1 emailed to me, I checked the status and it told me it was received etc. It said that all the way up until yesterday...When I checked today, I was given an error message, stating they couldn't update me at this time. I called them (just to make sure) and was told that it probably means it's being worked on, and no status update does not necessarily mean that anything is wrong. They have 30-45 days to update the status, so if nothing after that then definitely call them! But hopefully, it won't take that long! Keep us posted! :thumbs:

We had the same. At about the time CSC received the NOA1 from the lockbox it went off, came back on this morning when the NOA2 was issued. If you create an online profile on the USCIS site then it'll show you the last time it was updated (prob the time they received your NOA1) but as with the case checker, it won't give you any more info.

Good luck with the process & hope there's NOA2s for some more coming soon ?

I had problem getting into the uscis website this morning as well but by this afternoon I was able to log in again but nothing has changed. On the "MY CASE" webpage it still says the petition was received on 4/20 and the last update date is 4/23 ... So who knows what is going on ...
