Hi all!

I have officially passed my VJ estimated dates of adjudication from my timeline. Mine says April 23- April 27... it's now April 28 with no NOA2.

So don't forget that the VJ dates are just estimates, so don't get discouraged!

Since I was one of the earliest filers in this group (sent forms in March 28; got NOA1 April 2) I'll be sure to update y'all whenever I do get my NOA2.

Here's to hoping that not only does May bring flowers (after these frequent April showers we've been getting down South), but also an influx of April filers' NOA2s!

K-1 Visa Timeline

April 15, 2014 - Met online

August 23, 2014 - Met in person! M. comes over to visit me in US for a week.

January 31, 2015 - I go over to UK to visit M. for three weeks.

March 28, 2015 - Sent I-129F packet to Dallas

March 31, 2015 - Received at Dallas Lockbox, sent to CSC

April 2, 2015 - NOA1 email/text notification received

April 3, 2015 - Check cashed

April 8, 2015 - NOA1 hardcopy received in mail

May 6, 2015 - NOA2 email notification received (34 days from NOA1)

May 16, 2015 - M. comes over for another visit in the US for two weeks

May 19, 2015 - Officially engaged!!

June 4, 2015 - M. receives packet 3 from London Embassy

July 17, 2015 - M.'s medical in London

Many of us received our NOA1 at the end of the week further my NOA1 was dated 5 days prior to the date I received my electronic notification. Maybe someone knows if they batch up sending out the NOA2 like they do the NOA1 ? Being optimistic and assuming that is the case perhaps you may receive it Friday.... Let's hope !

So, I just want to make sure Im understanding things right! :) I have my NOA1 hard copy and is that all it is, is a receipt? No other instructions for anything? Is it not until the NOA2 that gives more instruction on what to do next? Thanks in advance :)

Correct. No instructions with the NOA1. You just wait until you get your NOA2. Your first real 'instructions' come from the embassy, once your approved petition has gone through NVC and been received by the consulate in the beneficiary's country.

Correct. No instructions with the NOA1. You just wait until you get your NOA2. Your first real 'instructions' come from the embassy, once your approved petition has gone through NVC and been received by the consulate in the beneficiary's country.

NOA1 recieved. CSC. I could cry joyful tears!

9/4/2014 - Met online to practice language together.
10/5/2014 - Officially became a couple after tons of time talking and flirting. *laughs*
12/26/2014 - First meeting in Atlanta. Spent close to 2 weeks together.
02/16/2015 - Second meeting. I went to Mexico City for an amazing week and met her mom and sisters. Saw lucha libre CMLL at Arena México with her on my birthday that week! Obvious keeper! *laughs*
03/29/2015 - Third meeting. Proposed at The airport in Atlanta. Spent an amazing two weeks together.
04/16/2015 - Sent I-129F.
04/28/2015 - WE RECIEVED OUR NOA1 DATED 04/21/2015!!!!!

5/21/2015 - NOA 2 (online)
6/12/2015 - Called NVC. Received case number!

7/3/2015 - Recieved interview letter.

7/11/2015 - Fourth meeting (Atlanta). ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AND REALLY FUN. Saw Fall Out Boy and did lots of fun stuff juntos!

8/6/2015 - Scheduled interview for 9/11/2015

9/9/2015 - Fifth Meeting. Flew to Mexico City, spent an amazing week in Mexico with her and family.

9/10/2015 - Flew to Juarez together and spent two amazing days there.

9/11/2015 - APPROVED AT INTERVIEW IN JUAREZ!!!!! :dancing:

I know how you feel, ElGuapo !! I felt the same way last week. :)

I just received my hard copy of NOA-1 yesterday in the mail (text was received 4/23). As mentioned in previous posts, yes, this is just the hard copy of the text/email that you may have received. Still one more step done !! Now just the wait for the NOA-2 (approval).

January 3, 2015 Met on internet chat/dating site and soon after became a couple.

April 9, 2015 First visit to Medellin.

April 14, 2015 Got engaged the day before David flew back home. Met Nelson's mother and showed her our rings. :wow:

April 17, 2015 Filed I-129F

April 22, 2015 NOA-1 date

May 23, 2015 2nd trip to Medellin - Had lunch with Nelson's family and spent more quality time together.

June 9, 2015 3rd trip to Medellin - Spent more time with Nelson's mother, met Nelson's friends and began making plans for October wedding

June 10, 2015 RFE receipt date

June 15, 2015 Hard copy of RFE received

June 16, 2015 Mailed overnight RFE reply.

June 17, 2015 RFE reply received from USCIS (notified by email).

June 22, 2015 NOA-2 date

June 29, 2015 Received NOA-2 hard copy

July 13, 2015 NVC Case Number Assigned

July 21, 2015 Case "Ready" at Bogota CEAC.

Aug 14-21, 2015 4th and final trip to Colombia (at least for a year or so) to be there for interview !!!!

We just received our NOA1 thru text/email today, Hard Copy to follow. I kinda knew it was coming because they already cashed my check for the $340 lol. My case is being sent to the California Service Center, is that good?

04-23-2015 Sent in the I-129f to the Dallas Lockbox

04-29-2015 USCIS cashed our check and sent us text and email our NOA1

05-04-2015 NOA1 paper copy received today

06-01-2015 Sent letter requesting petition for K-1 visa be withdrawn and terminated. We are no longer engaged.

Filled for AOS through marriage on April 16th(Thursday), the package was received April 20th(Monday) and checks for I-30 and I-485 cashed on April 24th( Friday).

Yeah, California have been quite good lately. Congrats and hope the journey is quick and easy for you!

On a slightly different note: received my paper NOA-1 today.. same info as electronic/text, but, still, yay!

Really looking forward to some NOA-2 receivals to start popping up in this thread. Guys, if you get NOA-2, please drop by the thread in addition to updating your timeline, share the joy! :)
