GUESS WHO JUST GOT NOTIFIED ABOUT AN RFE. Yup, this guy. And a day after a getting a letter from my Congressman that he would be more than happy to get involved. I just would have like to have heard this "We apologize sir. Someone made an error in processing your case. We will do whatever is necessary to expedite matters from here on in.". That's what I would have liked.

Thanks for the congrats Rush, can't believe she will be here in about 3 weeks now.

You at least took a step in the right direction. Hopefully it will be an easy RFE and you can turn it around quickly. They generally process them within10 days, but I will be careful promising that after what you went through! Some humility and customer service from them would be nice, but a lot to expect I guess. Hopefully it takes off quickly for you now.

Came home to find the RFE in the mailbox. In my haste to get the I-129F in the mail, I forgot to tick the box that asks if was ever convicted (Aaaarrrrggghhhhh!!!!!). I feel so stupid. That still doesnt excuse USCIS from not sending the RFE bac in April. Water under the bridge. Found a Post Office that was open late-back on its way to California. Wooohoooo!!!!!

Hey Rush, glad it was a quick fix and right back in the mail. You can't go back and change it now, so just look forward to the positives, you should get the NOA2 within 10 days of them receiving it! You are right, no excuses for them!

K-1 approved this morning, in and out of the embassy within 45 minutes. Thank goodness for that, I can breathe again!

I've left a very detailed embassy review for anyone interested in reading here. I won't double post it, but summarise a few of my experiences here.

Biggest tip I can offer anyone with an upcoming interview is make sure you refresh yourself on your original K1 submissions. Read them cover to cover. I found the interview quite an anxious and nerve wracking process which as a result made me innocuously stumble one of my questions and the interviewer stating she was 'a little confused'. Additional questioning settled this and the fumble evidently didn't impact the final result, but at that moment I felt myself falling through earth's crust into molten lava just purely because it seemed I was not in full control of words coming out of my mouth. Don't discount nerves, it can affect people differently and even the most genuine and transparent people can have 'rabbit in the headlight' moments that can make them appear disingenuous.

I see my CEAC status has updated to Administrative Processing already this evening (which I'm led to believe is normal), so here's hoping I get my passport and BBE issued nice and prompt. I'll update as we go, along with answering any questions here about my review or experiences if it can help others.

Good luck to those of you waiting, hang on in there, your day will come!
