I scheduled the interview for September 16th and the medical for September 15th. I booked a flight to arrive on the 14th and go to both with Tanya, it's going to be a crazy few days, then go to her home town before flying home the 21st. The nice thing about the Kiev embassy is you can go online, create an ID and schedule when you want it. They just opened up the September calendar today, so I had any date available I wanted to choose.

Good luck to everyone, no matter which stage you are in :thumbs:

Yay!! I'm so happy for you, it's not far at all anymore! Just one more month and you've done it! It's so fast now lol! I hope were gonna be able to have the interview end of September. My fiance is gonna try and call NVC on monday and see if we get our number assigned already. Yay so exciting! I got my police certificate in the mail yesterday too. Getting all the stuff together now.

So today we got an email the embassy letting us know that my finance's interview is scheduled for next Wednesday. Thankfully we are prepared. My fiancé never got a package. If it weren't for VJ I wouldn't even know what wee needed for the interview. Everything is happening so fast. Yay

Huh, weren't you able to schedule it?

Thanks Myrie! Yes, it is going fast now, but a lot of things to do as well! I could have actually scheduled the interview for this week, lots of openings, but we wanted to do it together. We still need to get one police certificate, but we got the hard one out of the way!

Good luck with the NVC, it was easy for me, but I know some people get stuck there for a while, but still not as bad as USCIS :rolleyes: Usually takes at least 2 week to get your number. I don't know how that embassy works, but I would think you should be good for end of September!

I only read good reviews about the Frankfurt consulate..I even wrote them an Email because I had a question and they answered within hours. So that was surprising already hehe.

AWESOME!!!! :thumbs::dance:

Thanks Rush Hour!

I can't believe you are still waiting on USCIS. They had to have lost it or something for it to take so long. It's nuts they won't even look into it until 5 months are up. I saw someone got approved from a NOA1 of July 27th already while you sit and wait, that is so frustrating. Here's hoping for good news soon!

I also sent an email to the consulate in Kiev late yesterday asking when they would open up September for scheduling. When I woke up I had an email and said it was now open! I was surprised too, very courteous.

I popped in and I still see Rush waiting... and to think I saw an Noa1 in August already approved... I'm sorry man.... I hope things get resolved next week. What I always tell myself is... you WILL be together one day... so a few months to a year is nothing in the long run. Condolences go out to you....

I told them I'd call every day until the issue was resolved, and what do you know, the next day my case was approved. Those who scream loudest are helped first... that's how the world works, and I say you have every right to call every day. You payed for a service, and they can't follow through on their end of the deal after five months?? I'd be lighting up their phone.

Oh my god that is so true. I work part time in customer service/retail and it happens so often that the most impertinent customers get whatever they want. Like seriously. Someone could return silk tights that were worn for about 8 years..just because they made a scene. While friendly people get sent away. (And I'm not even lying lol. This really happened.) :ot: I know.. sorry.

Anyway, maybe it helps him the way it helped you ! It's def worth a try.

I wonder how "fun" it is gonna be for me to reach NVC soon. :sleepy:
