I got my case number from NVC :-)

The embassy received my case on the 25th of July :-)

Still waiting for my packet 3 :-(

There is anything I can do for now ???

Go to the Embassy page that you will be processing through. Look over their requirements, I'm sure there is still a lot you can do to get prepared. Good Luck.

We just received our RFE notice in the mail. And they wanted my signed letter of intent.

Hey, Myrie. Did you send the letter with a new date on it or did you send the original of the one you had before?

My case was received yesterday by the embassy, things are looking great! :D I'm happy everyone is making progress, RUSH you will see that NOA2 soon....

So really from here on out there really isn't much to wait for. The only reason for me not scheduling my appointment right away is because I'm waiting for her passport to arrive in the mail. It will any day.

Sent I129f - April 28, 2015

Received I129f - May 1, 2015

NOA1 - May 5, 2015 (Email on 6, Harcopy on 9)

NOA2 - July 9 (Email and text)

NOA2 Hardcopy - July 13

NVC Case # Assigned - July 30

Consulate Received - Aug. 3

Medical - Aug. 12 (We passed! Well, almost. She needs to see a psychiatrist on the 28th, which shouldn't be a big issue. She cut her wrist long ago in her teenage years.)

Interview - ??? (Originally Aug. 26, but since she is now required to see a psychiatrist on the 28th, it will be rescheduled, probably sometime in Sept.)

Hi everyone!! I'll be sending back our RFE tomorrow to the California service center.... They supplied a self addressed envelope but I'd prefer to send fedex overnight. Hmmmm... Can someone let me know if you've done this. And what address you used? I don't think fedex delivers to PO boxes?

Greetings to all from Shanghai. Still haven't heard a @&&"'ing thing from USCIS. Congratulations to all my April filers that are moving forward. It is very inspiring to see everyone getting closer to that final goal of having their loved one come to the US and legally get to stay. I think when I get back from China I am going to have to get my Congressman involved. I know that they say that you really can't start officially scream until 5 months has passed, but I think there is enough evidence to support that the "first come, first served" statement is a crock of $&@t ! Having to leave my honey again is hard enough but will be even harder if we have no news. Keeping the faith here in the Far East!!!

Ohh you can try. But our case was like 100 days. I called my senators office. They flat out refused to inquire until the 5 months is up. I call and emailed my congressman too. Same response. By our kinda stuck till USCIS decides to move

I also was waiting for Aileen's new passport but I'm impatient so I'm paying for the visa using her old passport number, the one that got stolen. The embassy doesn't know it's stolen they just use it for tracking. So when she shows up at the interview with a different passport she'll just tell them it was stolen, which is the truth.

FedEx does not deliver to PO boxes. But, as offered by another member, you could use USPO and get signature required and you should be fine. Good luck on this go around.
