We just got an RFE today!!! A day after my birthday... Yay! Oh, Brian and I are so relieved...Thank you God for hearing us.. whohoooo!

Good luck to those who are still waiting..

That's good news. Hope it's an easy RFE.As for me, we found out BPI won't accept payment for your visa application without your passport. We could still pay it online with her old passport number but she would have to have a bank account or paypal account. I wonder if I could pay for her here in the states?

Hi there when i pay my visa last july 2, 2015 BPI never ask my passport. I think they just ask it to check if your name is same with the passport but here is the HELpfull tips you can read.. I hope everything will get back in tract with you both praying for you mark nd eileen, brian and rossie... I'm not active posting but i read all your post..

What do I need in order to pay the K1 Visa Fee at a BPI branch?

There are three (3) important things to bring to your BPI branch:

1. Passport Some tellers may or may not require identification when paying the visa fee. If they do ask, the teller would ask for your unexpired passport.

2. K1 Visa Fee Payment Starting September 12, 2014 , the K1 Visa Fee will be at $265 (previously $240). It will be paid according to the prevailing exchange rate which you will find on your

3. $265 MRV Deposit Slip MRV means Machine Readable Visa. This is important. You must print out the $265 MRV Deposit Slip found on the US Travel Docs Website. Click this link to go directly to the page where you can download the $265 MRV Deposit Slip »

How to Pay the K1 Visa Fee at BPI

1. Bring the three (3) necessary items mentioned above: Passport, K1 Visa Fee Payment and the $265 MRV slip with the prevailing $ to Php exchange rate. (Consular Fee Changes effective September 12, 2014)

2. Go to your nearest BPI Branch.

3. Use the BPI Express Assist terminal, also known as the touch-screen BEA Terminal, and proceed with selecting your banking transaction type and payment category: US Visa. When youre done, BEA will give you a number. This is to facilitate an easier number queuing at BPI branches.

4. Your number will be called and/or flashed on the queuing monitor.

5. Present the $265 MRV Deposit Slip and pay the necessary fees. If asked, present your passport.

6. The teller will give you back the Customer Copy of the MRV Deposit Slip after theyve printed the transaction info at the back. DO NOT LOSE THIS. You need the MRV Receipt Number in order to schedule your K1 Visa interview online and you will have to present this slip on your K1 Visa Interview at the US Embassy, Manila.

This is due to the prevailing exchange rate during that time. | K1 Visa Fee Payment at BPI (Philippines) | © 2013, Bank of the Philippine Islands, Life As Mrs. Presson (www.mrspresson.com)

Thats it! After four to eight hours (at least it was eight for me), you will be able to proceed to the next step: How to Schedule Your K1 Visa Interview Online »

You can now pay your K1 Visa Fees online!

If you have a bank account with either the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) or BancNet, you may click on these links to be taken directly to the US Travel Docs website where you can pay for your visa fee online.

So I got my case number! Awesome. But, I need to ask, what's next? What should I be doing? Because my promotion and other things in life have left me too tired to think about this stuff lately... but now that I'm off for two days I'd like to get things rolling again.

Sent I129f - April 28, 2015

Congrats! I would recommend going to the Philippines portal and read up on the consulate information, then you can get a jump start on what you need. You can also try to track the packet from NVC with the DHL tracking trick http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302190-dhl-tracking-from-nvc-to-us-embassy/

Greetings from China. Lei and I are on our way to Wouzhen. Supposedly the oldest water town in China. A little like Venice I guess only smaller. Overnight train ride. Lousy sleeping berth. I need a new back. Having a great time with my honey.

Much congratulations to all moving forwards and good luck to the rest of us lost in the sauce.

Congrats! Now that you have your case number, you can now have your fiance pay the visa fee, schedule the interview and fill out the ds-160. It's basically rock and roll time... hehe.?

The medical is walk-in. She should do this prior to the interview. She can just go anytime. As for the CFO seminar, she needs to register and she can opt to do this prior or after the visa is issued. Good luck... ?

I've been doing a really deep research on what's suppose to be doing of the fiancé(e) beneficiary next after getting the MNL#. I've found this really helpful guide specifically for Philippine applicants - K1 visa guide. You can basically skip the waiting part of NVC file transfer to USEM and start up to the interview scheduling process even without the packet arriving to USEM. But of course, you got to wait until the packet arrives 'till you show up for the interview. Otherwise, what files are the consul's going to examine?..

The guide above is pretty much what my fiancée's going to do after we get our NOA2 as we're planning to get her here by November this year.

Hope this helps and best of luck!

Cheers!
