It says received and notice sent. This is our second time applying. Approved the first time. At the second interview he was given a 221g. From May 22nd until January 20th we were given the run around. They kept saying that they were working on our case. Finally January 20th they said 'It's expired, you need to refile.'!!! It expired June 14th, 2014! They played us for 8 months! Nothing was being done on our case :-( So to now have this unexplained delay... Well, you can imagine how we're feeling :-( It seems that we would've received an RFE by now if there was something wrong or missing. :-/ I should add that the first time we had not yet met in person but this time we have. Seems that an approval would be even easier this time??

Hello all,

Just wanted to ask if anyone else is having a problem checking their case online. I tired checking mine and it says my case number is invalid. This hasn't happened before :/.

Same happens to mine...you are not alone :(

So you didn't meetin person the first time? It made it all the way to the embassy for the interview stage?

January 3, 2015 Met on internet chat/dating site and soon after became a couple.

April 9, 2015 First visit to Medellin.

April 14, 2015 Got engaged the day before David flew back home. Met Nelson's mother and showed her our rings. :wow:

April 17, 2015 Filed I-129F

April 22, 2015 NOA-1 date

May 23, 2015 2nd trip to Medellin - Had lunch with Nelson's family and spent more quality time together.

June 9, 2015 3rd trip to Medellin - Spent more time with Nelson's mother, met Nelson's friends and began making plans for October wedding

June 10, 2015 RFE receipt date

June 15, 2015 Hard copy of RFE received

June 16, 2015 Mailed overnight RFE reply.

June 17, 2015 RFE reply received from USCIS (notified by email).

June 22, 2015 NOA-2 date

If you go to Csc processing times on the home page right under the link for your timeline they will show you the last 15 petitions approved and there is one on there from April 2 that has already been approved in 21 days

All: Perhaps you know this already by there are some topics on here regarding IGOR'S List for processing times. I am not quite sure the difference ?????

YAAAAY, got my e-notification of NOA-1; going to California Service Center as well. :) Phew. Now just hoping they won't slow down too much between now and then.

Just received both e-mail and text notifications. The official paper version of NOA-1 will come in the mail some time later, but who cares, seriously, as long, as it's WAC / California. :luv:

07.22.2015 - Interview. 2 hours worth of waiting and 5 minutes worth of talking to the consul, "your visa is approved". Yaaay!
10.09.2015 - POE in Boston, MA. Hooray!! Welcome, my love.

05.12.2016 - Interview scheduled for 06.15.2016 (wow, that really took 6 months from filing...)

06.15.2016 - Interview. Approved! (but not at the interview, got notification about 4 hours later)

06.30.2016 - Green Card Received!

Guys!!

My fiance called that 1800 number and after a long time on hold he got to talk to a lady who according to him sounded pretty nice. She said the website has no issues or glitch reported, and that the message we are getting appears when someone is working on our case. Jim told her also that when we sign in, we can see that our case was updated on April 14. She said, that means that on April 14, someone worked on it and until one touches our case again, then that is the time we will see a new date, update, rfe or approval but she can "see in the system" our case is already assigned to an official and its on initial review, she also explained this is the 2nd stage after acceptance which is automatically generated when we get the noa1 (this explains why I was able to see my case before) during initial review stage uscis do the background check of the petitioner and review the case to see if there are red flags (fraud)

Just wanted to share this with you guys....hopefully we get good news soon.
