Hi. I just filed last Friday, April 17th and just saw the Express Mail delivery receipt this morning. My fiancé is from Medellin Colombia. I really hope our packet is routed to California. I will watch for the text message/email.

So from everything I read online today it seems like the entire process could be anywhere from 3 months to 9 months, with 3 months being very unlikely. I really hope that it helps by the fact that our petition is very straightforward with no previous marriages, no kids, no previous filings, etc. not sure if that makes a difference or not but I can hope. Thanks for all the great information on here.

I almost feel like the odd one out, I haven't had mine show up as unavailable yet. Did any of you create a USCIS account and add your tracking number to that or are you just entering it in manually into the search window each time?

I do both.

When I enter manually my tracking number I see the whole message:

At this time USCIS cannot provide you with information for your case. Please contact the NCSC 1 (800) 375-5283 for additional information.

When I log in to my account, I see nothing other than it was updated 04/14 (see attachments)

I noticed this morning that my expected date has shifted earlier to May 1, 2015 and May 6, 2015 instead of May 2nd and May 8th. Yours might have too since we're date twins

Thank you for keeping me updated!!! Mine changes to May 2, 2015 until May 6,2015 So I guess it really does change randomly!!!

When I checked last night it just said the same as before "The petition was received....." and it said that the last change was made on the 18th of April....but today it is back to "blank"...sorry for getting y'alls hopes up!!!

Mine has just updated AGAIN to 1st-5th. I'm wondering if there's been a bunch of March filers approved to drive the number down so quickly

I guess it's possible. I don't know how long adjudication takes if it's just a straight forward case.

I had a play around with timelines, Aussie K-1s submitted since March 1, and the average NOA2 days is 15. Crossing all my fingers and toes.

I'll go back to waiting...:-( Expected NOA-2 at the beginning of August....

Btw, a former USCIS adjudicator wrote here a few years ago that an I-129F takes roughly 15 mis once someone gets to it.

You have to factor in time to play online browser games, check facebook, text, take about 5 "15 minute breaks," flirt with the office admin, etc. Typical government worker work day

Hey there, fellow Bostonian! I've filed on Monday, April 20th, and the Express Mail delivered it today. Fingers utterly totally crossed for them to route the packets to California; let me know what you hear from them!

Self: My fiance is from cold Northern Russia (and they did get *less* snow out there than we did here in Boston this winter, at least while I was visiting). Long time lurker, first time poster, all that jazz. These forums are buzzing with all the good info, and the statistics aspect of it is also awesome: just looking at it kinda calms me down. Good to know there are so many people in the same boat, and so many of people here who've already completed various steps of the journey. Good luck to us all!

Hey Naire37. Yeah, we are only a couple of days apart in filing. You are so right about the statistics page. I only discovered this website a couple of days ago and the stats are Very helpful......and encouraging. The trend over the last 90 days vs 180 days seems to be that they are being processed quicker, with California only 30 days or so! The country information is also very helpful. Colombia is pretty quick in processing time compared to many other countries.. I really hope I receive the NOA1 today. Best of luck to you and to all !!!
