Just phoned uscis and the national benefits center are currently processing February 4th for AOS - for all those NPIW

I haven't gotten any kind of response ?? I'm deeply discouraged by hearing I'd have to wait until February next year n that's without NPIW ... It really sucks, I do have ap but I'm scared if I leave, I won't be able to come back in.. I hope

I get some kind of update soon... Does this mean that all those with MSC receipts will be processed soon??

I have a bank account with a tax id and I'm about to go change it tomorrow and get my license... I believe that it means work authorization with dhs only which mean that I guess on the books jobs only?? Or legal jobs?? I'm not sure but you can get a bank account and your drivers license

I'm in chicago. The lady at the ssa office said that it could take up to 4 weeks. I have a job waiting on me. I went in for interview and I got the job. All I got to do is provide my ssn for them to do the background and drug check. Then I can start working

Oh ok. I actually think someone took the jobs I secured. I had 2 and people still call me but without it, I can't start. Wish you the best

Yea that's the crazy part. We fight to get the work permit and still have a long wait to get the ssn.

I'm just glad we're done. My husband and I actually high fived after the interview. The entire process wore us out! We didn't know we would have to wait this long for the social security but it could be worse
