You're welcome. Hang in there, I'm sure the approval is coming. Many cases experience a delay if an RFE was issued.

You're welcome. I would hold off on submitting any medical (I-693) form or have a full medical exam completed at this point since you already submitted your AOS paperwork for processing. If you receive an RFE for a new medical, then proceed but hold off since it will only cause confusion in your case. I have read that if the medical is over a year old, USCIS will ask for a full medical exam and the paperwork either be submitted via mail or provided at the interview if not asked via RFE.

Best of luck on your case! :)

I'm sure you'll be fine. If you are asked for medical, it's just just a short bump on the road to see a civil surgeon. I seen a civil surgeon to transcribe the vaccines to I-693's for my wife/daughter's AOS in order to play it safe since their DS-3025 forms didn't have "completed" marked in. God willing, I trust that all will go well during our interview process next month. :)

i would advise you to have a new medical if your old medical exam is over a year because it is almost impossible to by pass that.

even if you do not get an rfe, CO will definitely ask you to do another one at your interview and that would cause an extra 30 days delay for your approval.

so just do it and get it out of the way, do not send it in if not requested but be sure to take it to your interview.

I sent my AOS packet on April 6 and got my EAD on July 13th. Now, I just received a Notice of Potential Interview Waiver Case from USCIS which basically states that there is a potential delay of 6 months on my green card application without an interview. However, by reading some on the threads here, it seems that it takes almost a year for the green card to be finally given...So as usual, nothing I can do but wait, wait, wait and wait...(I think i or we deserve a medal for having the patience to wait...LOL)....I just hope the USCIS will follow the new address i will updating them as we are bound to move soon.

Any other April filers who received the same notice? Good luck for those who received an interview notice...

I just receive the same notice in mail. Of course, the case update on the website didn't change at all (Still at "we accepted the fingerprint fee...").

So now... it's just waiting? Waiting until they send out a Green Card? <.< Is it any possible that it will take faster than 6 months?
