I feel you..

I have read a thread, after 18 months of waiting the I-485 was denied due to expired Medicals.. Is that even possible? Couldn't believe it.

Also, I did not apply for AP. I didn't know that it could take 12-18 months to process the green card.

Is it too late to apply for AP now? Or am I just wasting my time and just wait for an update for the AOS application? When would you think April filers will get updates on their I-485 applications?

From what I know, you don't pay any extra to apply AP with the EAD. But since you haven't apply I-765 with I-131, now you can apply with no problems, but you will ay the I-131 fee ($300+).

And interview dates will depend on where the office is located. Mine is St. Paul... the statistics for this office is no good. The earliest I can get an interview is early september. The latest is early november. (I checked on visa journey timelines).

The uscis website estimates is was way off: they say they are processing September/2014.

Received combo EAD/AP card for my wife today. They put an incorrect date of birth on the card. Doh! I went back and checked all the documents I sent, and I didn't make any errors. Her birthday is 5/11 (5th May) and they put 15 May. I guess it was a typo?

Should I call USCIS and will they fix this or what steps can I take to correct it. We are traveling at the end of August so need the card!

Good news guys ! i got my 2nd EAD card today 7/18/15

Really though, I got my EAD at like July 7th, and today I opened my mail box I was confused it was a package from USCIS, so I opened it.

And inside was another EAD, so now I have 2 EAD. Both with same date / expire date. lol

(4/13/15): Uscis received my documents AOS EAD


(4/17/15): Notice date for Biometrics


(5/06/15): 11am, Biometric done


(6/20/15) Letter received for i-485 interview for (July 22nd 2015 9:35am wednesday)


(6/24/15): (on June 29th, I was annoyed because I have not heard anything about my i-765 for EAD, and case status was not updated since April 13th saying we received your package. So I called USCIS and after talking to them for awhile I found out my I-765 was already approved and letter was sent at June 24th 2015, so that was a good news, but I still have not received my approval letter yet and my case status is still not updated.


(6/29/15): Called USCIS regarding my i-765 EAD, read (6/24/15)


*(6/29/15): Went home later that day after college, and found out I did receive my i-765 approval letter :D But case status online still not updated.


(7/9/15): EAD Recieved :D


(7/10/15): Applied for SSN


(7/22/15): Aos Interview


(7/23/15): Green card / Interview approved card in production


(7/27/15): Welcome Notice mail received in mail ^~^

We got the EAD card on SAturday. Went to apply for SSN today and they said it might take ~ 1 week. Anyone with this experience?

Yea I went through the same thing. Did they say they have to confirm it with dhs?

Have you received the SSN yet? I think we applied for it at the same time and they told me it could take up to 4 weeks
