We just received an RFE for EAD because of our marriage certificate :crying: ... do we just send in the yellow paper and certificate?

Congrats to everyone who received EAD. its been 3weeks since I applied for SSN and yet to get the number. Is anyone having this problem?

I did - and this is the second time. When I first applied it they couldn't verify my name (last name was too long) and they had to send it to NY for manual verification. It took 5 weeks to actually get the card. Then I went back last week to update it to my married name and the same thing happened - they couldn't verify my status even though I had my EAD in hand. So they sent it to NY again...

me too and we had send we want text messages and mail but i guess something went wromg..the same we just got first email and texts and that was it

awesome maybe then in next month we receve interview letter or however that goes..they just send you in mail or what?does it say what you need to bring or what?

go on the uscis site, select check case status and register there with your receipt numbers. be sure to select the option for text and email

you have to send the original and the form states whether you return the yellow paper or not but i believe that you do need to return it as i got a pink slip and had to return it

Update: NOA hardcopy approval for EAD/AP was received today for my wife/daughter. Now we'll wait for the Combo cards to proceed in the upcoming week or so?

I'm just waiting here patiently for the interview notice. Can't wait until this is over.

I feel you..

I have read a thread, after 18 months of waiting the I-485 was denied due to expired Medicals.. Is that even possible? Couldn't believe it.

Also, I did not apply for AP. I didn't know that it could take 12-18 months to process the green card.

Is it too late to apply for AP now? Or am I just wasting my time and just wait for an update for the AOS application? When would you think April filers will get updates on their I-485 applications?
