What a blissful day... I finally received my EAD/AP combo card after waiting for 18 days after its approval or exactly 2 weeks from receipt of the approval notice. Now I can move on to applying for my SSN and finding work.

Update: I just now logged into the USCIS case system to see if my wife's EAD/AP status is now updated and it is now consistent with my daughter's approval date of last Friday (7/10).

Now we'll just wait for the combo cards in the mail within a week or so? Congrats to everyone and best of luck on your employment endeavors!!!

Did you recieve a tracking number?

Nope, I did not receive any tracking number on my phone or email that's why i was a little bit worried but thanks to my husband who keeps on telling me to be calm and patient and just wait. I never called the USCIS too. My case status online was only updated last week stating that the card was mailed.

You should get your approval soon. Your NOA date is after mine and I just got approved today.

Just want to let you know guys, after my interview yesterday, I got an offer letter today (on a Saturday). I feel so blessed, after almost felt like giving up. 2 weeks after I got my EAD card, I finally got a job.

Don't lose hope guys! I had offered a job before but lose it because of the delayed EAD. After getting my EAD, I went to 4 interviews and felt like giving up. But now finally got it.

To God be the Glory! Goodluck to those looking for jobs.. You will get it soon Happy weekend! Never ever lose confidence! More so Hope!

So i just strolled to the mail box as always, only to find combo card inside. I am over joyed. I didnt get any message of it being shipped, no tracking number nothing. Infact i havent recieved hard copy noa.

I am passing my good luck to everyone expecting theirs.

I am also working on my driving license, hard as I never drive before lol..

My first day of work is Monday next week. I just got my Drug Test today, and I just sent in my signed Release and Authorization (consumer/background) check. I just hope there won't be a problem here since we will have no record at all as a new immigrant.

Hope to get the Green Card before December so we could be out of the country ??
