Also, I'm one of those people that had a RFE and sent in the papers a while ago. Recently, it says that my case was updated yesterday for my I485, but the status hasn't changed at all nor is it in the history. The date of last updated... So, their system isn't correlated either lol

So, I just spoke to a tier2 representative (doing the "press no number" trick), and the representative told that my case was approved on July 2nd (on my 76th day), and my I-485 was ready for interview. My Uscis case status remains unchanged.

Thats a far different answer from when I called on July 1st: no updates, and they were processing August/2014.

But I'm not all excited yet. I will be when I receive the thing in the mail!

Day 87....still nothing in mail or any update online.

Question. One of my best friends is getting married 26th July back in UK. I booked to fly back 15th July, months ago. Now before you say "You should of waited till you had the EAD/AP card before you booked" I knew the risk and prices were always going to get higher. If worst comes to worst I will just change my flight. This might seem a stupid question but Im kind of desperate to get to this wedding, do you need the combo card to fly or could you just get someone to mail to me while I'm there? I'm just spit balling here as I'm kind of losing my mind. I've already had to turn down two jobs because of the length it's taken, as I haven't been able to have a driving licence. I know I still have 7 days till my flight but I'm just thinking worst case scenario. I honestly thought it would of come by now as I have yet to see it taking longer than 90 days for anyone.

Hey,

I have seen this in another topic. I think it was March Filers? Not sure. Anyways, there is a big risk of doing so. If you fly in, and USCIS requires you to retake your fingerprints (that happens), you won't be here for that. Also, If your name is not printed right, or if there is any mistake on your card, you won't be here to fix it. It's a big, big risk. I wouldn't do it.

All 4 of our I485 apps were touched recently, but no status change. Hopefully, they will send interview soon. Also....our missing EADS for my step-son is still MIA

Once you get the update whether it's via email or post mail, the card should be with you in less than two weeks.

I know a friend who got only text alert and after a week received his tracking number for his card.

You got approved, just wait about a week or two, max. Congratulations!

Start a new subject and ask for more inputs. I thought having the AP/EAD will give me access to go to Canada, but I read here some of the thread that Canadian boarder do acknowledge only Greencard. I can go visit my Country of Origin and can come back here in US, but cannot visit other country.

Hi guys! We filed on April 22 / 2015 and completed biometrics on May 18. No RFE. Today is day 77 and we haven't gotten anything. I called last tuesday and the person I talked to said they still working on our case and there aren't updates :'(
Today I feel so frustrated and sad. I wanted to travel between August-Sept to see my Mom and Grandma and I don't see it happening anymore :(

I have read something about the service request after the 75 days. Can someone enlighten me? Does it apply only for I-765 or also I-485?

Thanks

Day 79 here - no news. I called on Tuesday and had an agent put in a service request. We'll see if it gets things moving... I am adjusting status from being an F1 student under OPT. My OPT expired this past Tuesday, so I had to quit working until I get my new EAD. The wait is killing me!
