Same for me too.

It has today's date on the I765, I130, and I131.

The I485 remains Aprils date.

This has got to be a glitch, since I'm pretty sure they are not working today.

Good news fro my side. Today I received the Approval Notice for my EAD and Advanced Parole. They wrote that the EAD card is send separately, so I'm still waiting for that one. The status on the website hasn't been updated, so I was very surprised when I found the approval letter in the mail today.

My timeline:

AOS/EAD/ADP: April 22.

Biometrics: May 11.

Approval Notice EAD/ADP: June 27. (received on July 3rd).

Congrats!!!

Ok guys, I just got an update that my EAD/AP was approved on the 26th June.

I filed 10th April

They received 16th April

I did biometrics 21st may

They approved it June 26th

Joy fills my heart.

So guys hang in there yours is next.!

Congratulations! Where was the update from? I checked my status online and it showed that my EAD was approved on June 30. It was updated yesterday.

Is it real or is it just a glitch?! I want to be excited, but I don't know if I should believe this online status update!

So I just checked and it did say for my EAD case inquiry that it was assigned today and also that a response was mailed to me.

It does not say if it was approved or something else.

Right after that i got locked out from the USCIS website needing to change my password.

When I try to login again I only get an error: AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED. PLEASE CONTACT TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

Pls guyz i have a concern.

My passport expires in next week, will i be able to get ssn once i have my ead? Or do i need a valid passport?

Depending on your previous visa status, the question I have is why you did not apply for SSN in the beginning?

You don't need a EAD in order to get a SSN. A valid passport and i-94 is usually enough.

Does it also say that your inquiry is now complete? It never updated as approved on the USCIS website for my husband, but we did get an email with their findings. If you didn't get an email, I think that if you call now, a Tier 2 should be able to tell you if you are approved or what is going on since the service request was assigned. Good luck! Hoping this is it for you!

It does say "completed", but I did not receive an email.

I will try my luck and call tomorrow.

Should I be worried that I have not received an email?

You out of curiosity: What would be a reason for not approving I-765 (EAD)?

I think some of you guys are being a little impatient. Eads usually take an average of 90 days. Also the more proof you submit the quicker it is. Try to spend time looking and applying for jobs do that when you get your Ead you can start working. When I got my ead two years ago it took a little over 90 days so try to relax and stay positive (:

Right now, EADs are taking 75-80 days, just look at the data from the past few months. I don't think anyone who is within or over that timeframe is being impatient. Yes, they can take up to 90 days and sometimes over, but that is not the norm right now.

It's so hit or miss with the website and email that I don't think it's worth worrying over. Easier said than done, though! :P

This late in the process for EAD, people have gotten RFEs for things like pictures and certified copies of marriage certificate. Probably just used to buy USCIS more time. Maybe the wrong code (not putting C9) on the form?
