I think some of you guys are being a little impatient. Eads usually take an average of 90 days. Also the more proof you submit the quicker it is. Try to spend time looking and applying for jobs do that when you get your Ead you can start working. When I got my ead two years ago it took a little over 90 days so try to relax and stay positive (:

I'm curious where it says that the more proof you submit, the quicker it will be. Are you talking about expedites or just the regular EAD application?

And congratulations! You're having a boy, how exciting! :)

Dang that is frustrating. :( The 4/7s must have gone into the wrong pile. My husband's service request was just touched a couple of days ago, so hopefully that means yours is next since you did it just two days after. I would keep calling Tier 2s since you are pretty much at the max 90 days and hopefully get more help from a different one.

Tell me about it :o

This is really a frustrating process. I would understand if they'd require more information etc.

But it really seems that the case has not been touched at all.

It's just an observation made by different ppl on other forums I'm on. If you submit enough evidence, you don't have to worry about an rfe. Sometimes you might even get approved without an interview.

& thank you, it is very exciting! :-)

Is it better to do a online request for the Ead service request, or should I call them and talk to the tier 2 agent?

I did both and I haven't heard anything from them. I did an online request on Tuesday (June 30), and it says that my inquiry is currently not assigned for processing. I called on Wednesday and the tier 2 agent just told me that I made an online request. I thought that she would open the case and make a service request for me. Now I feel bad that I made the online request! Errr...:) It would be helpful to hear others' experiences especially those who did the request online.

I have exactly the same issue. I filed my first online inquiry June 25th, 2015.

Well, I just filed another. If it will not be assigned Monday morning, they will hear from me every day.

It's ridiculous... three months, not allowed to work (so many good opportunities), not getting a plastic driver's license because out of status, not allowed to leave the country.

What do they expect?

Awww...your NOA1 is even earlier than mine. I'm sorry I understand your frustration.

They expect us to... wait... ;) or maybe to call them everyday. Haha!

Jokes aside.

This is a really frustrating process and should be optimized.

I also wanted to add:

When I filed my first online inquiry (06/25/2015), they wrote: Expect a reply by July 17, 2015.

After I filed the second inquiry today (07/03/2015) - Expect a reply by July 15, 2015.

Where is the logic?

Good news fro my side. Today I received the Approval Notice for my EAD and Advanced Parole. They wrote that the EAD card is send separately, so I'm still waiting for that one. The status on the website hasn't been updated, so I was very surprised when I found the approval letter in the mail today.

My timeline:

AOS/EAD/ADP: April 22.

Biometrics: May 11.

Approval Notice EAD/ADP: June 27. (received on July 3rd).
