I filed my AOS at april,

biometric at may 6th

Interview notice received at June 23rd. Interview at July 22nd.

EAD approval notice at june 29th. (Notice was sent to me at 24th)

waiting on EAD card

Honestly, nothing seems "late" according to your timeline. EAD is going to take 75-90 days regardless of any interview notice... two different processes. If anything, you seem to be moving through quickly. Lucky!

Hoping for EAD to arrive soon. Here us the timeline

April 22, 2015- sent 485, 131 and 765

April 27- online update Case Received

May 9th- biometrics notice received

may 22- went for biometrics

June 2- case ready to be scheduled for interview

Since then its July 1st and there is no sign of EAD. Our receipt starts with MSC. Please if someone with similar timeline could help would be greatly appreciate it

EAD will probably be approved in the next few weeks. They appear to be working on mid-April NOA1s now. If it is past 75 days from your NOA1, you can put in a service request (either online or call USCIS).

All our cases have MSC numbers... they are processed at the National Benefits Center, aka Missouri Service Center (MSC) before they are sent to the local office. Hopefully you'll interview will be scheduled soon too. Good luck!

Anybody know how long they take to make a decision on a expedite request? I made one April 16 and I was told to send additional information to them which I did from the April 23 and still no response. This is super frustrating :-(

I think some of you guys are being a little impatient. Eads usually take an average of 90 days. Also the more proof you submit the quicker it is. Try to spend time looking and applying for jobs do that when you get your Ead you can start working. When I got my ead two years ago it took a little over 90 days so try to relax and stay positive (:

It's not I'm being impatient. It's just that my wife is pregnant (due next Saturday) and has been off work. She was the one paying all the bills. She won't go back to work till in September

Congrats to you too. We're having a boy lol. I'm also due in 3 weeks. Have you tried to schedule an info pass? That might help in your situation, also can your wife get short term disability?

Ok I'm gonna schedule an infopass. As of next Monday it will be 77 days so I'm gonna also submit a service request. I'm not sure about the short-term disability. We gonna check it out

Yeah that might help. Depending on the type of job she does, they should be able to offer the std. Good luck !

Please fill in your timeline. What are you adjusting from?

EAD is taking 75-90 days right now. Interview dates are entirely dependent on your local office. Less busy offices will have interviews pretty quickly whereas back-logged local offices will takes months and months for an interview. Some people do get their GCs before their EAD/APs. Consider yourself lucky that you are having such a quick interview. Many of us will be waiting longer or get an NPIW, which means GC a year from now.

I agree with you. :) It is also good for those who received interview schedules to indicate what they are adjusting from because some kinds of visas are faster than others. It will help us understand more the differences in our timelines and approvals. The one who started this said to only post here if you are adjusting from family based (K) visas. K1 is usually the one that takes longer, unless you get lucky and get an interview schedule right away.
