Letters first then emails

I never received an update until online until they mailed my EAD card. It jumped straight from "your case was received" to "your card was picked up by the USPS". And I only knew my case had been approved because I called.

AWESOME!!! Glad to hear that more fellow April filers have received their EAD/AP combo cards or have been approved. No RFE's for my wife/daughters EAD/AP that I filed and sent off during the last week of April so that's a plus. I am guessing that my wife/daughters EAD/AP approval should take place around mid July but it's USCIS so I'm not betting on it. LOL!!!

Happy Friday and may you all enjoy your weekend. :)

Hey elisacbgarcia. Did you call them once the 75 days were up, or you called them before that?

I tried calling a couple days ago (on day 68) and the lady was reading from a script on the computer, informing the non-updated info on myUSCIS.

Today for me was a GORGEOUS day full of... nothing:

No RFE (I'm assuming by now there won't be any RFEs)

NO EAD/AP

NO interview

Bummed :(

I called them on day 72, I think, but they let me put an inquiry for the approaching regulatory timeframe. The reply they gave me wasn't satisfactory ("your case is under review"). So a week later and called and spoke to a Tier 2 (I think she was the one that approved me... But who knows). Then on the beginning of the following week I put the same inquiry online and they answered in less than 24h saying that it had been approved.

So after the message that I posted earlier today that I was over it, my attorney just told us that the EAD was approved as of 6/23. There was no update online, no letters, no RFE's, nothing. I am just super glad that we are making progress. I am super happy right now! :dancing: . I guess this entire process is about just being patient. My timeline. Filed 3/30, NOA1 4/6, Bio 4/30, EAD approval 6/23.

ROC

5/31/17 mailed packet to CSC priority mail

6/05/17 NOA1 received.  (Dated 6/1/2017)

6/17/17 NOA2 received.  Biometrics Appt. on 6/27

6/27/17 Biometrics completed
