Guys! So I'm about 80days into my application, been constantly checking the USCIS' website for update on my EAD card but it hasn't updated since they received response to my RFE (May29). I checked the mail this morning and to my surprise, (I-797C NOA) my interview letter was waiting for me. My Green Card interview is next month, July 28th.

I have a question about the Biometrics.... when I came through customs after receiving my K-1 fiance packetApril 1.the customs officer took my picture AND my fingerprints....does that mean that my biometrics were already done? I have yet to receive my Biometrics appointment and I am an April 27 filer.

No, I'm pretty sure you are still required to get a Biometric appointment. Have you made an infopass appointment yet with your local office?

No, you still need to get your biometrics done. Try putting an inquiry online about why it's taking so long to get your biometrics date.

Here is a link about what an infopass is, incase you didn't find out yet.

There is a link on there for scheduling one at your local office.

I think you said you called again, did you speak to Tier 1 or Tier 2? Tier 1s can just see what is on the website (or perhaps what would be on the website if it were updating correctly right now). Tier 2s can access a little deeper into your case and give you more info about what is going on (hopefully).

Did you get your NOA1s in the mail? Is it just your biometrics letter that keeps being undelivered?

Just found this thread. I filed in April too. Did my biometrics on the 21st of may just waiting on EAD. I had an RFE which I sent back and they received on the 28th of may so still waiting. Has anyone received anything yet?

Welcome, Thokozile! :) I did my biometrics a week before you. It's good that they already received the RFE. I don't have my EAD approval yet, but I'm hoping for the approval either next week or 2nd week of July. The faster that it will be here, the better. :)
