No worries. We are here to listen to each other. Yes, with your timeline you will probably have your EAD by the 2nd week of June. Don't worry, you will have that job if that job is really for you. I plan to start applying in June so that if ever I got a job, my employer would not wait that long for my EAD and I would not feel bad that I wouldn't get the job because of not having my EAD yet.

We'll have our EAD's before we know it, and we'll start working. I'm enjoying the "vacation" from work because when we start working it will be hard to have a break like this again.

That's great! Who knows, you might even get your EAD before mid-June.

So I called USCIS today. The agent was so nice But told me that I could not request to expedite my EAD based on an Offer Letter Alone. But she said, I could elaborate the request by demonstrating great financial difficulties. She said, my case is still in the normal time frame and I should expect it to be approved middle of June or first week of July at most.

I guess it is time to inform my employer that I could only join by middle of June - early July. I just wish I still have the job

Bad break but at least it was worth a shot. I'm sure your future employer will be ok since it's not much before you receive the EAD approval anyhow. Hang in there and no worries, we are all here for support during this process.

You will have a decision latest July I would expect by June for your green card interview or waiver Congrats!

I also would like to know.. I have signed authorization and consent to release information on Employment History, Personal Reference, Criminal History and Drug Test.. I have not done any drug test yet.. maybe not a requirement.. I also am curious how they do the background check..

I also found that they will do credit report but I don't have any yet. Also, how would they e-verify if we are authorized to work if our EAD is not yet approved? Maybe I am stressing too much. Haha.
