I called USCIS today to expedite my EAD based on severe financial loss and pending job offer. Hopefully, it will be approved. I got a copy of my job offer today and I am pretty happy about the rate ($35/hr). Fingers crossed the company will still wait for another month if the expedited EAD will not be approved.

It is, especially for a first job in the US. But then, we need to move to Michigan and gave up this warm weather. I don't like cold.

We need to start packing. There are so much to do, I am just so overwhelmed.

Just bundle up, and you will get used to the cold weather I love the four seasons too

Oh My, you are so lucky. Expect EAD approval in the next week or maximum couple of weeks.

You will have a decision latest July I would expect by June for your green card interview or waiver Congrats!

Thank you. This will be a big adjustment for us but we will embrace the new life. My husband will not work for few months there since I don't know still how to drive. He will be my personal driver. I am still struggling with learning how to drive or maybe because my husband is the teacher and he easily freaks out when I did not get it. Haha

Thanks. I just had an interview an hour ago for an aerospace company here in AZ. The rate is $42/hr. Now this will be a major change of decision if I get this job. We will no longer need to move on the other side of the world.

So I called USCIS today. The agent was so nice But told me that I could not request to expedite my EAD based on an Offer Letter Alone. But she said, I could elaborate the request by demonstrating great financial difficulties. She said, my case is still in the normal time frame and I should expect it to be approved middle of June or first week of July at most.

I guess it is time to inform my employer that I could only join by middle of June - early July. I just wish I still have the job

Why do we need to wait this long>? Lol.. sorry.. no intention of being negative.. I just need to let this out..
