So is there anybody else who has been approved by the CSC in Feb/early March and their case still hasn't reached NVC yet?

Mine is creeping up to the 35 days mark. Tried speaking to uscis but didn't realise the beneficiary was unable to hear information regarding the petition. To me that doesn't really make Scence because the petition is about the beneficiary anyway. That's irrelivant so I'll just leave that where it is.

Just strange for me when petitions approved after March 06th 2015 (my NOA2) have already reached the NVC and been give their case numbers.

Funnily enough, no I didnt. My notice stated it was sent to the 'listed consulate', so rather confused as I'm assuming ALL cases need to be sent to NVC for a case number to be assigned!

If you're referring to the text messaged received, wouldn't know, we didn't get one.

If you're referring to the Hardcopy then, no . . . That's not correct. A friend of mine, the NOA2 her fiance received in the post didn't say that. Theirs said ' The above Petition has been approved. We have sent the original Visa Petition to the Department of State National Visa Center blah blah blah'

They don't all say the same thing.

Was your friend also petitioning for a fiance? Just curious. Our NOA2 hard copy also says it's being sent to the listed consulate. It will be, but we know it makes a stop at NVC first.

Yes. I wouldn't use her as an example if she wasn't going the K1 route. Lol it wouldf be pretty silly if I used her as an example if she wasn't in the same boat as me.

Not all NOA2s have the same wording. This is what I've come to find. Like I said before, it's just confusing. I now know from reading up on here that even if it says something different, it still gets sent to NVC.

For what it's worth, once I managed to get a hold of an actual person at the NVC they said that my petition was forwarded to London a week ago, but I still haven't received a letter in the mail. So it's entirely possible that the NVC has already received and processed your case, and they just haven't gotten around to telling you yet. You can call them at (603)-334-0700 to check on your status - they can tell you if it's been forwarded and give you your case number over the phone.

That's all I had been doing since I reached the 2 week mark. Ringing NVC like a crazy woman.

UPDATE: Got my USC fiancé to ring uscis yesterday and the lady (tier 2, I told him to be persistent and not to get off the phone before they transferred him to tier 2) basically told him, it's still in Cali, hasn't been sent yet and he needs to stop having a winge and be patient!

So, yeah! CSC are full of poop!

Ugh, that's super annoying and makes no sense! Sorry they seem to be going so slow in your case. It's enough to make you crazy, trying to figure out why one application gets processed right away and other similar ones take ages.
