Hi everybody, big disappointment on my end here the last few days. I called in a service request on my EAD/aP application, as it had been well over three months in processing. .. was told that National Benefits Center (where my paperwork is at) is more than 2 months behind in its processing times right now. As of Friday, they were working on applications submitted as of February 2. This will put me at the middle of September, at the earliest, before I get my EAD, more than five months after application. This has big ramifications for me especially, since I'm due to start grad school this fall, and can't qualify for in state tuition unless I can prove that I've been approved for a green card.... So frustrated right now.

Anyways, thought someone else might find the information about the backlog useful.

Hello,

I find that information very hard to believe.

are you sure the rep wasn't talking about AOS processing? because i know for a fact that EAD processing time is 90days(3months).

pls go to this link https://cisomb.dhs.gov/oca/form7001.aspxfill the necessary information and submit it.

you can also call the number of the ombudsman to explain this to them. im sure you will get your approval this week.

customer service representatives can sometimes give you a heart attack.

please just be patient, that's all we can be right now.

Approval is coming your way.
