Visa Approved!!!!

Whole process only took about 1.5 hours. The interviewer didn't even ask her anything. Looked at the photos and said he really loved a couple of them and approved her. Done! Finally!

Also, how do we track the visa issuance? Is it through the same case number?

Just reporting that I received the offical I-797 in the mail. Two things jumped out to me: 1. It says "listed consulate" but there is none. 2. A few paragraphs but nothing about what the next steps

I don't know when exactly mine was assigned - I called today and immediately checked ceac and the status was available.

my case got sent to the NVC!!!!! I feel like 7 months of suffering were worth it lol.. makes this next phase a lot more fun

The https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspxsite says the Visa is "Issued". Does that mean it was mailed?

Depends on the embassy but I'd say that she can expect her passport very soon. Congrats!

It has been quiet on this page.

We crossed the border on Monday, no issues, hassle free. (Officer noted I had a flag on my file because I had previously applied for college and was accepted but didn't go. He said he fixed it. Not sue what that was all about and why it would come up at that point.)

Went to SS office today and applied for SSN. No issues. Hassle free.

Wedding in two weeks.

Hope all of you are moving along through this process as well.
