I will let you know as soon as we get the passport back.

The dominican consulate said 2 to 3 weeks but we will see. It's not been a week yet. But, I will just wait, happy to have been approved.

We have plans of traveling on Friday to Peru but I am going to have to change the return date so I might as well change the departure one. I think United charges one fee for all schedule changes . I am lucky because I do not have to go back to work in the US until September and can wait with my sweetheart. Otherwise I would be going crazy again! Happy Sunday to all.

I hope it won't last as long as the glitch of last year ! Almost a month of delay from what I read...

I have my interview scheduled for very soon and I was hoping to book a flight before the end of July.. It's really not the good timing for this to happen !!

At the end, our visa journey can be resume by a ONE simple word : WAIT <_<<_<<_<

Hey guys, I have a quick question:

How do I check if my application has been send to the embassy? I have my case number from the nvc. Is there any way to track my case at this stage?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Quick question May I ask?

How it said in the red box when you check your status on CEAC page ?

I was suggesting that yours would arrive at the same time, just that, in my case, the glitch or slowdown had no affect on the creation and shipping of visa.

Well your visa was issued before the issue arose, June 9th, so it makes sense you guys got it safe and sound.

I get " your search did not return any data"

I have read from different people saying the status says "in transit" or "ready".

Where and how they could check, I am wondering?

I checked in the ceac website but it just showed me as "In transit". My case was sent to the embassy on May 29 but no sign yet.

What did you guys submit as your documented evidence for the I-134?

This is what I'm planning:

Last 3 months of pay stubs.

Current contract that stats my income. (ink signed)

Copy of the last 3 years of tax returns.

Is that fine? I'm *well* over the line they are looking for, so I suspect I shouldn't even need this much.

Yep! We are doing something similar, last few pay stubs, employee letter and tax returns.

to be on the safe side print out at least a month's worth of bank statements showing deposits to your account from your employer.

Thank you!

I guess it might take some time for the website to be updated. When I search, it says " your search didn';t return any data".

By when you were able to check you case online? After it was sent to the embassy?

It totally varies, for sure, but ours, for instance, did not show up as anything but "your search didn't return any data" until the embassy had entered into their system.

I wish it was 4 business days :( my fiance's interview was June 2nd and tomorrow would make it two weeks. The consulate said it would arrive in two weeks to 20 days but we are still in Administrative Processing. I'm just worried that they didn't print the visa out before June 9th.. I don't know how that whole process works but we still have some wiggle time so we will just wait and see.
