hi everyone ive recieved packet three a couple of weeks ago i need to know where do i find my case number (im uk london) so it says the first three letters it starts with is LND - i need this so i can schedule a medical exam.

Also how long does it take to get an interview after medical exam?

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about the UK, but in Vietnam you have to schedule the interview (ds-160, etc) before you can do the medical.

The case number should be on the PKT3 letter.

your interview is an August???? that is a long, long time from now. is there a way to get that moved up?

August 5 was the first available. My congressman's office is trying to see if they can move it up.

The embassy in Ho Chi Minh is notoriously bad about making appointments. 2 months was a welcome surprise. Sometimes it's 3+.

Hey VJ Family

Extremely Happy to say that my visa was approved!!!!! No words can describe how ecstatic I am right now. It was a long day the wait was the longest part but the interview was literally like 5-6 questions to both my fiancé and myself and then she said everything's good in approving your visa! Then I screamed and she just couldn't stop laughing lol great moment. I wish all of your experiences are the the same! I wish approvals for everyone!!! Now unfortunately I have to go home w.o my fiancé because I only got a few days off and we have to wait for the passport to be ready =-(

Thank you all!!

Hi guys! I had to pay for the interview appointment and get a date before my fiance scheduled his medical exam. I guess it depends on the embassy. I have a question. It is ok right if I cannot make it to my fiance's interview? I just started my new job and I can't take any days off. I was wondering if they would view that as a bad thing. Thanks!

When you call the nvc do you get an automated voice that hangs up after saying that all their reps are busy?

I have finally gotten the NOA2 and made it through the NVC and DOS website shows my package being received at the Bogota Embassy on Monday June 1st. But when I emailed the embassy on Friday the 5th they replied to me that they have not received "all of the info" from the NVC. What the hell does this mean and how can I find out what id going on? If anyone can shed some light on this it would be great.

Thanks everyone.

regardless, two months and a set interview date is better than being in the nebulous TSC and not knowing anything at all. I am happy for you.

Not going to the interview is ok! I didn't go to my fiancé's and he got approved :) Going is always a plus, but not a requirement.
