After being for 2 hours on the phone I finally got my case # assigned!

The first time I called one of the representatives told me that I had to wait 35 days ( yeah right) but I didnt like that answer so I called again and finally after a long wait on the phone ( 1 hour) I talked to another representative and after a few questions he made I asked him for my case #.

Just reporting that I received the offical I-797 in the mail. Two things jumped out to me: 1. It says "listed consulate" but there is none. 2. A few paragraphs but nothing about what the next steps

I don't know when exactly mine was assigned - I called today and immediately checked ceac and the status was available.

my case got sent to the NVC!!!!! I feel like 7 months of suffering were worth it lol.. makes this next phase a lot more fun

I also called yesterday but I called at 2 pm and the rep told me the same 35 day nonsense, but no case # assigned yet.

so I will call again Monday to hopefully get our #.

Are you going to do the ds-160 this weekend?

You'd think being at TSC for 7 months would increase patience lol i'm basically stalking the NVC since my petition was sent on the 4th, I wonder if they track how many times you call...they must think im crazy... :clock:

Yeah, that's why I called a second time, since I've been checking the other timelines I knew there was a big chance that I was going to get a case # assigned. When you call they are gonna ask you some simple questions like your full name and nicela's DOB, stuff like that.

I'm almost done with the ds-160, just have to upload my fiance's picture and after that print the confirmation page.

I paid the visa fee today and I could take a look on the next available dates for the interview, the closest one was on May 18, but I'm waiting until they have available appointments by the end on June.

I don't get it. Texa service center has the date of October 4 post it. Apparently that's the date they are attending right now. However, I am the 30th of September and I have not receive yet my noa2. Do some body has the answer of my issue? Thanks a lot.

Please when you got approved what are the next steps?

What should we do now?
