Got Packet-3 today. Interview date - 28 July. 3 more months. It never ends

Oh wow, that is a LONG wait!

Received my case number last night via telephone to the NVC. When I input the case number into the CEAC Visa Status Check it comes back saying, "Your search did not return any data". Who knows, got the case number though:}

That's quite normal. It can take a day before the number starts working on the status checker. Give it 24 hours and it will be up and running

I just called the NVC, they also received my case today! I will again tomorrow night for the case #.

Glad another batch was received! Can they hurry up and get mine! It was sent out 5/4 I know it's just been a few days but I've been waiting for long I just want to be at interview already!!!! ???

Atleast yours was sent.. I'm still at TSC !! Approved on April 20 and still waiting to be sent to NVC

ClaudiaxFF, keep checking every night, the USCIS website is usually updated around 10 pm.

Yea I start updating the USCIS page from 930 to 10 every night of the week hoping for a good news ! And I live in France so it's 330-4 in the morning for me.. Seriously starting to feel tired.. BUT.. Maybe tonight is the good one ! Fingers crossed

Yes, I think so too. Been a few days and still the same result on the status checker, but hopefully it changes soon. Either way, I got the case number.

hey guys, for everyone that received notice that their file shipped from USCIS to NVC on april 29th it should be there now.

I just called NVC and they said it just arrived today.

I will be calling tomorrow and hopefully get our Bogota case number.

Hey Andrew, I was cheking other Colombian timelines and most of the people get their bgt # assigned the day after the case is received. Hopefully we get our case numbers tomorrow.

Congrats!! I see we have the same NOA2 and NVC dates and thought that my case was sent too but when I checked it still says AT NCV.

Congrats to all those whose file are now at NVC and those in route to the embassy. I haven't been here in a few days glad to see progress all be it slow. After a few sleepiness night thank god my fiancé was able to obtain the police cert just in time.

Sooo frustrated we got out NOA2 17th of April we havent had any changes from USCIS website to say its in-transit or anything from NVC. Tried called a couple of days ago but they were too busy. ARGH!!

Have you completed the ds-160 yet? We started it and uploaded nicela's picture but we

were waiting until we get the bogota case number before we finish completing it.

I think I read somewhere that after we do the ds-160 that there is some page on the bogota embassy page that we can see a calendar and schedule our own interview date instead of

waiting for someone to assign a date.

I think that unlike other embassies, in bogota we can get the interview faster if we want.

We are hoping so, as we want to get nicela here as soon as possible.

Have you read the same info as far as what we need to do from here on out?

I'm hoping to schedule the interview by the of June but I'm sure you will be able to schedule one before ours.

Yeah I've been checking the embassy website and the packet they usually send to the k1 applicants. I'm gonna call in about 2 hours to see if they have our case #. Have you heard anything about yours?
