Thanks for starting this! I tried to start this a few weeks ago, but there weren't any Sept. TSC's except for me and a couple of others.

Here's my update:

NOA2: March 20th

Sent to NVC: April 1st

NVC has not received the petition. I called for the 2nd time today and I was told to wait 35 days. I'm going to call every week.

Just to confirm: after NVC receives it, the three numbers we need are:

1. Case number

2. Invoice number

3. Beneficiary ID number

I want this to move FASTER already!

Do they eventually send you a notice containing these 3 numbers? Or you just need to call to find out?

8/28/14：I-129F sent

9/4/14: $340 check posted to my bank account

9/5/14: email and text acceptance confirmation received

9/8/14: online status shows Alien Registration Number changed

9/12/14: Form I-797C received in the mail

4/7/15: Got text message and email saying the case was approved

4/9: Form I-797 received in the mail

4/13: Got text message and email saying the case was sent to the Department of State for visa processing

4/20: Called NVC and was told they just received it today

4/22: Called NVC, no case# yet

4/27: Called NVC, got case#, invoice# and beneficiary id#

Just reporting that I received the offical I-797 in the mail. Two things jumped out to me: 1. It says "listed consulate" but there is none. 2. A few paragraphs but nothing about what the next steps

I don't know when exactly mine was assigned - I called today and immediately checked ceac and the status was available.

my case got sent to the NVC!!!!! I feel like 7 months of suffering were worth it lol.. makes this next phase a lot more fun

Yes those are the three things to ask for. Wow they took a long time to send your file to NVC. I really got very lucky my file was approved before the they sent out that batch on Friday. I was shocked. I can't wait until this is over and I have my love with me. Edited by Ethline

Yes they do but it takes a long while to get it. You are much.better off calling if you can.

Now I got another problem: I was trying to login to USCIS's website but was told I could not due to "inactivity" :huh2: Sent them an email hoping to resolve it soon.

8/28/14：I-129F sent

Sounds like you may need to reset your password. Passwords are only good for 90 days.

Our cases were sent to NVC the same day.Wonder why it hasn't been received, maybe they haven't updated the system yet. They received mine today 4/7/2015.

Our cases were sent to NVC the same day.Wonder why it hasn't been received, maybe they haven't updated the system yet. They received mine today 4/7/2015.

I don't know why it took so long for them to send it to NVC, and why it hasn't been received! Calling now.
