G-325A fillable fields too small....?

Hello.

I was trying to fill the "Applicant's residence last five years" section. When I entered numbers for "Year" fields, "+" signs appeared on top of the numbers. I guess it means that what I entered was too big for the fields. When I print the form, "+" signs still show.

Did any of you have the same problem? If so, could you tell me how you fixed that problem? Or did you just hand write that part?

I am using Adobe Reader 7.0. I searched online for solutions, but I had no luck... It may have been possible to change font size if I had Adobe Acrobat, but I dont have it.

I had that problem with the months. I used abbreviated month names, I hope it doesn't cause a problem. For the years, I guess you can handwrite them.

I am having this problem with the address fields - I might just hand write(block print) the whole thing after all, or at least just those fields. As long as it's legible I don't see why it should be a problem.

You might find it better to just print out the blank forms and type in the information using a typewriter. For some of you that, aren't that old, this is a machine that types letters and numbers on paper that you insert into the typewriter yourself. Yeah, I'm an old dude, but the typewriter still has its uses.

Also, photo copies can make instant duplicates in the case of the G-325A.

Just write "see attached sheet" and send an extra sheet with the info that doesn't fit on G-325A and I-129F. That is what a bunch of us do.

I left the dates and the larger addresses blank and just filled them in. They really should fix this problem though.

I wouldn't photocopy directly.... the footers on each of the pages are different.

I had that problem and downloaded Acrobat 8.0 and the problem was solved.

I updated my Acrobat Reader from 7.0 to 8.0, and it seems to solve the problem!

thanks for the bump! I'm still confused though - I'm wondering if it will cause problems IF the forms are sent with the plus sign anyway... Has anyone ever done that?

when it happened to me, I downloaded the Acrobat trial version and edited the size of the fields.
