A friend was issued a B2 for medical and was here in USA for one month and went back to Nigeria his home country when he could not complete his medical reasons of coming to the USA due to medical unfitness. After six months he try to come for my sister marriage but at the port of entry Atlanta US border at the airport he was denial entry and was sent back to Nigeria, with a valid B2 visa for 2 years. What can I do to help my friend come visit? Is that the end of him coming to USA to visit? Please I need advice.

Is his visa 1 entry only?

It can be even if it's valid for years.

You can find it under "entries". Usually people have "M" there (which means multiply).

Is there any annotation that, even if it's a B visa, it's only valid for medical and not for wedding?

Was it specifically issued for medical purposes? Can you use a B visa issued for medical purposes to attend a wedding?

But yes, I like the idea of checking to see if it is a single entry visa

So he got a visa to come to the US for medical treatment and used it once for other purposes, tried a second time they caught on and sent him back.

If he wants to visit then he needs to apply for a B2, having abused his previous one probably not looking that good.

Presumably your sister is now married so does it matter?

Did he overstay? How long was he stamped to stay for. Many misunderstand a 2 ear Via and think they can stay 2 years or 6 months.

He was issued for a specific reason to come on back for a different reason he is violating his Visa.
