The mail was delivered on 21 April, still no NOA1 yet.Hopefully, no need to submit again. :(

Did you get your NOA1 yet? I never got an email and it took a couple weeks before the hard copy arrived, so frustrating! I did at least know they had cashed the check a couple days after they got the package.

If they cashed your check and you received an email then your fine. Don't worry the hard copy doesn't mean that much anyway.

If you don't get it within 30days call them

I sent to wrong ATTN. Not cashing, no text. I checked the carrier, the delivery date was 27th April. Delayed for some reason. So possible to reject my application. Well, it is not end of the World.

I talk to USCIS after on hold for 2 hrs and 15 minutes.

They asked me to wait another week. No problem for wrong attn. ( mail will be forwarded), undated check or post dated check as long as there are signature, Correct payee 's name , correct amount of fee on check.

Now USCIS is extremely busy. All the processes will be slower than usual. I have no idea why they are so busy.

You may say a hard copy doesn't matter but when you're filing from overseas and can't get a text because of that and don't get an email even though you put in the form with the correct email address and checked your spam a ridiculous amount. That hard copy means you know what your NOA1 date, what service center you've been sent to, and receipt number are making it much more important.

Hey

I got an email from USCIS just now. My case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center.

I don't see the check is chased.

I hope the check will go well.

Hubby filed I-130 April 15 sent at Phoenix Az Lockbox. He got in the mail Receipt Notice dated April 21. Priority Date is April 17. Processed in Nebraska Service Center. He called twice to check on the progress and consistent on saying Case is Active still processing. Everyday he checks on My case status, found out on May 7 they Approved the case. He got the Notice of approval in the mail May 11. "Case was approved. We have sent the original visa petition to the Department of State (NVC). " They said to allow 30 days for the Dept of State processing before contacting them.

Praying for speedy response.

Yeah I think it's a joke!! And super unfair. Should be the same for all. This is why so many people just over and file for AOS and I really don't blame them.

Its an answered prayer. A friend who is also on the same process told me that it seems fast for us. Her time table was approx 7 mos, they filed last year October and got interviewed last May 5. She will be leaving soon. Keeping our faith. God's in control.

There's absolutely no chance people from other countries other than the Phillipines that they will get approved in a month or less...So it's pretty much the opposite of hope.I don't see how anyone could think "I have to wait a year to be with my spouse and oh look!Other people do it in less than 4 months!Thinking about other people being together with their spouses while we'll be celebrating our first anniversary on the phone will make my loneliness much more bearable!"
