I think the uscis step to get NOA2 TAKES 5 TO 6 MONTHS THEN 1 month for the file to be sent to NVC and be assigned a case number then 3 months in nvc then another two months for the consulate step.that is a total of 11 to 12 months if all goes smooth , and responses to nvc requests were quick and nothing was missing.

Yes it is a very long wait, the us citizen is in texas and the spouse is in morocco, but we visit each other every six months.

Welcome Hassan and Amina!!!

Well... Im thinking about a year as well, hopefully its less

BrenPuchot thank you. And i hope all goes well for everyone.

So hard to know! Every Service Center varies its processing times constantly. So the slowest now can be the fastest in a month... It's just so unpredictable...

Hubby is coming in 48 days but he's only staying for 8 days. I cant do my everyday life as I used to six months ago, there is no day I dont end up crying or having a nervous breakdown and Im sure you guys are going throught the same.

Lets keep ourselves busy and support each other in here, I very much need it

It sure does suck! I mean especially for people that are going through this for the right reasons and not just to get a GC.

I know two people who had false marriages and got everything sorted super fast and it just makes my blood boil.
