No,you have to have the INN (Invoice Identification Number) along with your case number.Good news is you don't have to wait for their letter you can just call back and ask for it. :)

well, it seem like things have changed. I called n others too n were to it take 4 week to put case on the system after the received date. I call this morning again n was told they will notify me n instruct me on what next to do. All I was requesting was my case n indetification invoice #. This process is driving me crazy.?

Two souls ? with but a single thought, two ? that beat as one. M & K ?

I don't know if things can change in a couple weeks lol

I'm currently in the nvc process and that's what I had to do like 10 days ago. I must have spoken with them over 20 times in October. They always tell you the longest it will take. They will notify you by mail but that will happen about 10 days after your case is in the system. They told me anything from 4 weeks to 42 days but I kept calling and it turns out our case was in the system after 14 days.I called, the gave me my case number and INN and I was finally able to actually do things myself. My husband received a letter from them 10 days after that.

I just offer my advice so you get the info you need faster. Ofc you can do it their way but I had already completed the contact form and paid one of the fees before they "notified" me.

If doing this means I'll be with my husband 2 weeks sooner than if I followed their advice,I'll take it
