My transfer date is 28th august and than it shows filer received at local office on 17th sept. So still confused

Reaching a human at nvc has been impossible! After a few days we gotthrough today and they said they had recieved our case vut they hadnt put any info on the system yet. They told us to call monday/tuesday.

Makes sense that the backlogging went to nvc as well

I finally got approved in Nebraska, PD was 4/6. Do I now wait for hard copy till I can start the NVC process?

my case status today showed that my case was received today 19 october at the local office instead it was received on the 9 of september when it was transferred. can anybody suggest an idea about that please

I need help. So i called nvc almost everyday until they finally gave me a case and iin information. They received my docs 10/5/15 but on uscis website it showed they sent it 09/28/15. However i paid AOS ($120) online and completed the DS-261. Someone who have passed this step can you please tell me what's next?

First off congratulations on receiving your case and IIN number!!That's awesome and it gives me hope since my case was received on the 9th.

So, the USCIS shows the date they sent your case off to the NVC which was the 28th.The NVC told you the date they received your case (it takes a few days to get to them). Anything you need to know about the NVC process you can find here http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Process.I suggest you and your spouse start gathering all the required documents for the AOS and IV packages so you get over with it as soon as possible.

Wait for the IV bill to be invoiced. In the mean time, you can send over your AOS and IV packets.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the NVC to receive petitions once you get an email from USCIS saying the petition has been forwarded to NVC? Mine was approved on 7th Oct but they only sent it on 20th oct.
