Hey guys,

After NOA2, is there a time limit on how fast we need to submit back the affidavit support document etc? like 2 months , 6 months etc? Is there a chance risk to have to re-do all the process if we're a bit late on the affidavit support document?

Thanks

An approved petition is usually valid for one year, i.e., you'll have one year after approval to continue the process.

If you don't submit the documents within one year after approval, the petition will go dormant. If you want to keep it open longer than one year, you'll need to contact USCIS.

Still waiting for approval

A week ago I made the same comment n one member suggested that I call, however I ask my lawyer n she did a status request n I was approved the following day after the request. Even if u are not using a lawyer you can still call n enquire. I've read a couple comments where persons have done that n they were approved the same/next day. Give it a try. One thing though, I waited until it was fully 5 months since that's the time frame given by uscis for approval even though some are approved in a shorter time frame.

Two souls ? with but a single thought, two ? that beat as one. M & K ?

It is frustrating they tell you to wait! Call them after the 15th they say they change the processing dates on the 15th of every months! They will have a different date from 13th March and you will be able to inquire!

I would call them on the 15th as they say they change the processing date every 15th of the month so you will be able to inquire as their system won't say they are processing 13 th March anymore.
