Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you guys know that my petition was approved today. Priority date April 15th Nebraska. Case status wasn't updated on the website. I found out when I called. So if you are waiting still, try calling them.

I wonder why it wasn't updated on your account with USCIS. Did you also sign up for email and text messages from USCIS as well? I wonder how many other people actually have an approval but think they don't because of this. Can you give me the number you called to ask them about your case? We are also at Nebraska. Thank you! :)

I just called the USCIS customer service number and they told me my April 6th - Nebraska case is still pending. They said Nebraska is on March 13th still... but then told me that the date doesn't get updated till the 15th. So for the last month they keep quoting March 13th, since their system updates every month. So I'm still waiting... sigh. They can't request a service request because they are still within their timeframe apparently....

My status on the site was updated about 10 minutes or so after I called. Once it updated that's when I received email and text notification. I just called the main USCIS number and the automated teller have me my status.

My approval was 9/3 and they recd it on 9/10. Called and got a case # 9/14.

That was really astonishing ... i remember they give me my case number and IIN number after exact 43 days... Congratulations !

12/25/2014 - NOA 1

05/13/2015 - I-130 Approval / NOA 2

06/04/2015 - Case received

06/24/2015 - Case Number and IIN assigned in NVC Welcome Letter

06/25/2015 - DS -261 Available and completed on the phone

07/04/2015 - Paid AOS Bill

07/07/2015 - AOS Bill "PAID" status

07/04/2015 - Paid IV Bill

07/07/2015 - IV Bill "PAID" status

07/09/2015 - DS-260 Completed online

07/17/2015 - AOS and IV Packages sent

07/21/2015 - AOS and IV Packages scanned at NVC

08/05/2015 - Case completed

08/14/2015 - Received Case Completed confirmation email

08/26/2015 - Interview Scheduled Date Confirmation over the Phone

08/28/2015 - Received Interview Scheduled confirmation email

09/29/2015 - Interview Date

09/04/2015 - NVC called to tell about cancellation of the interview date

Hey guys,

After NOA2, is there a time limit on how fast we need to submit back the affidavit support document etc? like 2 months , 6 months etc? Is there a chance risk to have to re-do all the process if we're a bit late on the affidavit support document?

01/2016: Petition filed for my visa
02/2016: USCIS confirmed receiving our file/petition on 1st Feb.
04/2016: I-130 Approval email received from DHS towards early May, our case was approved end of April. 
03/2017: Paid AoS and IV Bill
03/2017: Sent AoS and IV Packages via mail.
04/2017: 5th day of April, NVC received package. Can take up to 11 weeks for CC according to nvc.

06/2017: 6th day of June, Case Completed - confirmed via phone

07/2017: Interviewed end of July 2017.

>> Passport with Visa received the next day of interview 

8/2017: POE via JFK


05/2020: N400 Filed

06/2021: Biometrics taken

02/2022: Interview Scheduled (Yes, after 22 months -.- )

Hello everyone case received October 2nd, no case number Yet though, they said up to 42 days for case number but at least it's moving along.

Good its moving along! Happy to hear. I'm sure you're relieved. Ours was moving pretty quickly till now. Just waiting for NVC to invoice.the IV fee. Trying to getting everything together before my trip home next month. Can't wait to see my huzzy (lol). Trying to find a beach house in Toco for a few days, any suggestions?

Hi, did you call NVC to review your ds-261 over the phone, after that they will invoice IV fee so you can pay it

All of that already done The AOS fee already paid. Waiting for them to invoice the IV fee.
