Hey guys,

You can call USCIS on 1-800 3755283

You need your receipt number which is showing on NOA1 receipt you or your lawayer should have received this letter just a few days after you filed. You can also check the status of your application on USCIS website with your receipt number (NOA 1)

My wife filed for me early april 2015 via their lawyer. Is there a way for us to find out the status of our application without getting in touch with the lawyer? Wife is back from the US and lawyer says no-updates yet. Is there a place we can call to prove our identity without a case number etc and figure out whats going on with the case so far?

Thanks.

Have you called them? I did and they told me to call back in a month

I've ask my lawyer to call and all she did was checked the online status and I've been doing that myself. I'll consider asking my husband to call seeing he is the petitioner.

Two souls ? with but a single thought, two ? that beat as one. M & K ?

Hey everyone and congratulations to those that have been approved...We just got approved today as well!!Best news to wake up to!Woooooooooooo!! :joy:

We had to sent RFE before our approval though and I was a little worried since I couldn't find much info about it.So just letting you know that if you are going through that it's really no big deal and it won't delay your case much unless something major is missing...

We got the RFE letter on the 22nd of August but we couldn't respond right away cause my husband was here, visiting me at the time.So we sent it on the 19th of September, got a confirmation that they received on the 22nd and boom 6 days later we were approved.

They requested proof of a bona fide marriage so we sent 8 affidavits from friends and family, our joined costco membership and a bunch of photos mainly from the wedding.

We started the whole process at the beginning of April and it took 172 days to get approved at the Texas Service Center.

Again congratulations to everyone that's got their approval and all the positive energy to those still waiting...We can do this!!

I am also still waiting. PD April 24th Nebraska. Do they normally send emails? I know sometimes they don't change the online status until after some days. Has anyone experienced not receiving any notice? When I called USCIS they just told me they are processing applications dated March 13th! That sounds inaccurate given manh April fillers have already got their approvals. I wonder where they get those dates from...

Any late April filers receiving updates about their status?

My husband is from the U.K. and our priority date is April 29th at the Nebraska Service Center. I've heard of many April filers receiving notice and others who say that the NSC is just now getting to March petitions. I'm going to try and call today as as are now past the 5 months. I live in Lincoln, Nebraska so part of me just wants to walk up to office and ask what is taking so dang long. But I'm sure that's frowned upon...

I just checked the USCIS website and my Form i-130 was approved today, so I will be receiving my NOA2 in a few days. My service center was also Nebraska and I just like you I filed my i-130 late April. If I am not mistaken, it might have been April 30th. Maybe you should call and see what is going on, I called not too long ago too. Good luck!
